Mutant Kougra just has bigger ears,nothing really special. *shrugs* I don't like it much,but it is cool for a mutant pet...unlike Mutant Lupe's revamp, this one at least looks good.

*looks at old poses* Oh, it DID have big ears before...how did I miss that?

EDIT: Shadow and Orange kougras been revmaped too ,but nothing but colorfills.

I have a feeling that many mutant kougra owners are going to be a bit angry about it. I mean it has a more evil and of course grotesque look than the other kougras, but I'm afraid the old one has it beat.

I personally think that Darigan and Mutant totally ruined the Kougra revamp. Both of them never really improved upon the past design, but were more of add on to the revamped template. A shame really.

Maraquain Kau > All, best Colour for the kaus, might even change my pet back into a kau because of it, just wish Kaus had a healingh item for battle, curtrently a kacheek ^^; was a Kau for almost 3 years but I changed to Kacheevck ;_; ok i'll stop talking ^^;; but Maraquin kau is very very nice, mutant korga looks a lirttle freaky for some reason o0

I like the new mutant Kougra better.
The old one looked like someone hit it repeatedly with a frying pan.
This new one has some personality.

I half-agree. I'll be honest I didn't like the old mutant Kougra, but when I see the enw one I change my mind. Sure, it has that evil glint in his eyes, but the old one beats it. I don't like positions of normal-coloured pets in the circle/whatever image. Gah...can you come back to me?

The Maraquan Kau is SO cuddly!

The Maraquan Kau is so cute. It's not often that I find myself liked a Kau color, nothing personal to the Kaus, they just aren't my favorite pets. Its even more rare for me to actually considering getting a Kau so I can paint it. I like it. It's different.

I usually hate it when they give new maraquan pets the "mermaid" look... but i think it looks good for the kau! I think there should be a bit more lighting on it.... or something.. the coloring could be a little cooler. But other than that i think it rocks!

Did you guys notice that in alot of the poses, they have water movement and bubbles to show motion?

I like it in the sense that is has originality, but i dont like it because not all maraquan pets are ALWAYS in the water... what if your pet is in the stone dome? And that also means that a Cow can breath underwater... i could understand with the fins having bubbles forming and stuff, but when it comes from the nostils... like on the last two... its kind of wierd :-/

Well, you'd expect the could breath underwater...o_o; They live under it. My philosophy: all of the marine Pets can breath in/out of water. I'm going to get around to sending in a question to the editorial asking how marine Neopets get around on land (you'd imagine they could some way or another...I don't know why -I- think so, but..). I'll inquire about the whole breathing thing.
