My friend who works at MacDonalds, busted open a box before the plushie release date and he's taken a whole box of plushies and he's giving them to me as a small birthday present.

A BOX OF PLUSHIES!

Yeah but that box is only one species...

I'm going up to macca's in 45 minutes to spend alot of money on plushies...

Had lunch at McDonalds -- Adelaide

I got a Happy Meal and 3 plushies:

1 Red Lupe
1 Blue Lupe
1 Cloud Scorchio


I wanted an Ixi instead of 2 Lupes, but the store had run out of them already. If you go to the Daily Giveaway on Neo they are doing the same thing they did before, but it hasn't started yet as its not 1 October in USA yet.

Sold out in Adelaide already? I'm doomed! I can't get to a maccas until Sunday!

Plus I don't know anyone who works there either... an' I have no money.

That was in the Maccas in the main mall of Adelaide.... so probably one of the busiest. It is also the last day of school holidays here, so I imagine that they are a bit more popular than usual. There were heaps and heaps of kids there. And me... 24 years old trying to convince her boyfriend that he also wanted to buy 10 plushies

So the Rundle Mall maccas? ...I guess the Arndale one'd be sold out too then...which is near where I live...

I'll have to try the one near Light Square...that's the only one I can really get to.

Don't the school hols have another week to go? I'm off uni hols next week, and I know I overlapped the normal school holidays by a week...

I thought it was the last day of school holidays.... but, since I am a PhD student I don't get Uni holidays either so I really have no idea.

The maccas I went to was the one near the Telstra shop in the little arcade. Tonight I will go to the one in the bottom of the Myer centre and maybe hit Arndale tommorrow morning.

OK I just got back from garden city, with a empty happy meal box (lucky freinds get free meal) and 3 toys

Well here is everything all together...



Those are the three that are availiable, and the TCG that I got with them (Red Kougra, Bearog and Raindorf)

In a storylike way I shall now tell you how i got them! I ran out of school as fast as I could (all nice and responsible because i just somehow volunteered for the fundraising for next year). My school, is right next to Garden City, one of the largest shopping malls in Perth, so I managed to get my toys straight after school! Another bonus, was that i got there before anyone else at school so I didn't have to bear the embarrasment of specifically asking for three different neopet happy meal toys I gave my actual happy meal to someone I saw!

Well the toys themselves aren't that great... Very McDonalds style. My Blue lupe's tail is a bit poorly made, the Ixi doesn't stand up great and has a HUGELY out of proportion head and my scorchio is somewhat fat. but other than that, its great that they released something neopets in australia! I'll be getting more pics up soon but my internet and computer is being a bit moody today so that may take a while

I just got one about 20 mins ago!!! I live in Adelaide as well and I got a green Ixi. I absolutely luv it!!! I think Im going to be having a lot of maccas in the next couple of weeks

Does your Ixi also have a very disproportional head?

... it was horrible, I say, horrible...

I still want the plushies though.

oh i'm fuming oh yes i am. the maccas in the city doesn't have them and told me they start on monday. i'm hopping down tommorrow to visit the other maccas and give the one who told me a bit of my mind since it took the 15 minutes to find out anyway, and i missed my home train, had to catch the late one and it was packed,

so i don't have any yet!

I just got a plushie today too! It was a green ixi, and with the same tcg as photographed above. And YES it has waaay too big of a head, when you try to stand it up it topples forward due to the weight of its gigantic head XD But its cute. I actually liked the carebears that were in the last happy meals better though, but like zorg said its good to see more neopets stuff in Aus

I'll be going to the Royal Show on monday so i'll get some more happy meal toys from the Maccas that they usually have over there... i'll make sure i get different ones! For $2 it isn't too expensive.

But yea - its GREAT that they have more australian stuff. And has anyone seen the "Get Neopets on your Mobile" bit? Woah!

And I think anyone who DOES buy one in australia shoudl try entering that compettion on the box, as many times as you can Try and get a PPTer winning the grand prize *drools*........
