I think freezing should be changed and people should only be frozen for doing something bad, like posting very inappropriate comments, posting bad pictures or something that is potentually harmful to another.
If they cheat at games, clear their bank account. If they use one account to cheat with and send the money to another account, I think neopets can trace it, so clear all their bank accounts! If they freeze the person, it doesn't hurt because they make a new account. But if they just took all the money every time they cheated, then they'd learn not to cheat I think. I'd clear all the money and all the SDB and everything they had and put it on the tree!
Attention: Your account was found to be cheating at games. Your SDB and bank account have now been cleared, all your high scores are erased and your tropheys are gone. You have no trades, or auctions, and nothing in your shop. You have gotten a score of such and such on such and such a game, in such and such amount of time, as this is impossible to do, you must have been cheating at the game!
Can anyone say ouch? Most of my 8 months on neo are represented by my items and np. If I lose all of that... well like Shifty said, it's almost as bad a s getting forzen. The only good thing about it is that you get to keep your pet. I believe that if you get caught cheating in a game, your score should be cancelled, and any neopoints you earned after cheating should be wiped. You should also recieve a warning. That way, you won't lose everything and you'll also learn your lesson. If a person repeats this, then and only then should they get frozen. Or even better, just get their account suspended (read page 1)

OK, I'm going to be Nervous Nellie here again.
The problem with banning IP addresses is that many ISP's share IP addresses (like AOL).
I am a moderator on another board, and we came across this problem. The nasty member was an AOL member, and when we banned his IP, we inadvertantly banned 40-50 good members who also happened to share that IP address, and were also AOL members.
And banning the IP doesn't mean they won't go to the library or go to another computer.
So banning IP's is a BAD thing. Very bad.
Very True. So amny people believe that IP banning can solve anything, but thats not the case. I can't think of any actual cases where TNT IP banned anyone.

If you are unsure of something you don't normally do, just ask before doing it. It's really that simple in 99% of the cases.
Yes, but knowing TNT, and some of the hyperactive reporters, you'll probably get frozen just for asking the question

Hint: Don't use a downloadable clock that you sync to NST and alerts you when restocks are going to happen....thus running script from a downloadable program when restocking. The bot may not like that!!!

Since when was that against the rules though? I remember someone asking Bryan if that was against the rules, and he said it wasn't. Oh well, I was thinking about using one of those clocks though, since I've got no chance at restokcing otherwise
