Thanks I wouldn't mind having a Krawk for a little while, but I want to keep the shoyru I just adopted for a while yet. It will take a very generious person to enable me to have a krawk or draik too.

Even though I do own a krawk, I find this sad This is not a pet that people are willing to lend for avatars (yes I know it's not allowed but ppl still do it :/) and now that the trans potion is 1mil+ owning a krawk is no longer a goal for many MANY Neopians....

I got my krawk when the trans potions were 250k and painted him rainbow with a 105k rainbow pb... so that's 305k in total. *hugs her krawk*

They are deflating compared to last night they were going for 1.6 mill I was nice and sold mine for a small profit not a stupidly inflated price

But I've never heard of anyone actually getting a krawk or draik from the lab, whereas I have heard of someone zapping a pet baby (only on the neoboards mind you) so who knows

About the zapping thing - I've actually heard of someone zapping a krawk -but never the draik thing o_O And there are lots of cybunny and koi instances as well as poogle (my labbie has been both a koi and a poogle at one point). I guess its just very very very very (etc) rare XD; And actually my friend's kougra turned pirate via the lab during one of the lab ray glitches. D: Lucky her.

Darn, I actually have two krawks, but they're not on my main account. I was really considering putting one of them up for adoption, but now people will (mostly) want to adopt it for the av --;

just great! what we all need, another near-impossible to get avatar. prices for krawks were already high before this; now they're just ridiculous. and not only that, apparently you can't get a krawk from the lab ray either, so the only way is to shell out the couple o' mill. damn you tnt

krawk transmogrification prices are basically at about the same point they were before the avatar, now. (a little bit higher ... but nothing huge) You certainly don't need a couple of million to get it. (Sure, around 1 million ... but you theoretically need that much for other avatars as well)

They (TNT) probably wanted people to start using the transmogrification potions, instead of just hoarding them. One way to make sure they don't become too abundant and become a green uni morphing potion.

Hmm, and why not?
I don't see why people would drop their goals just because of a little inflation.
Technically all that means is a little more work is going to be done.
If it's their goal, they should do it no matter what.

At least they did not make it something like :

'Have a krawk petpet and transform it into a pet in the fungus caves'

That Would make the prices on krawk petpets skyrocket immensely!

I can see how it would be so. If I use the Lab Ray as an example, when I first got the Lab Ray it cost me less than 100k, now for the Lab Ray people have to pay almost half a million neopoints - the mere frustration of knowing that it was once 100k and is now 5 times the price will be enough for some users to despair, the thought that one will always have to "chase" the price as it continually increases is also another thing that may put many off. The fact of the matter is that sometimes it's not just "a little inflation" and sometimes for those users who have games as their only source of neopoints inflation can increase faster than they can make their neopoints. Yes, inflation may stop eventually but do you honestly expect young kids and teens to understand this?
