omg!! it looks like scores are carrying over!!!

go tnt!!

Cool :)

I think that if a competition isn't completed in an hour (no pieces awarded), it should continue into the next hour. That would make it much easier, admittedly.

I haven't tried carrying a score over yet ... but I was just thinking about it the other day (and forgot to post it).

I was complaining about it alot, but I can now see (perhaps) TNT's point of doing it.

I think all "non-used" scores should carry over into the next hour if they don't get paired up ... UNLESS ... you got the high score for the hour with that score. It really isn't fair to get a high score map piece ... and then still have that score count during the next hour.

So, if they would just change it to be like that ... I think it would make lots of sense.

I don't understand why they shouldn't carry the high score over for the hour.

The high score doesn't get a piece if the requirements aren't met (5 players minimum etc).

So having it carry over seems to make sense.

Well, you know TNT are nonsensical so don't be surprised if the Myncis are replaced by Sea Monkeys tomorrow.

Let me rephrase. If high score for the hour GETS a map piece ... then the score shouldn't carry over.

I'm fine with it carrying over if they don't get a map piece. It just shouldn't be possible to get rewarded twice with the same score.

I'm perhaps 95% sure that scores that carry over don't count for the high score... so one high score can't by itself earn two pieces...

Yes, they can't carry over for *high* score ... but they could carry over for a win.

Since some games only require 1 play ... and 1 win is often good enough to win a piece ... then you can submit a high score at the end of the hour, get your piece ... then use it to get a win the next hour ... and get another piece.

For games that require 3 scores sent ... it just gives you an easy 1 win for the next hour, as well.

It seems WC is broken now ... they must messed something up. No scores are being processed.

The World Challenges now have ties determined by the user's high score for the hour.

Unused scores carry over to the next hour.

Hooray!

yay, finally. It was getting a little wierd on the games that are usually won with a tally of '1'. Sort of like competing to see if you had the lowest alphabetical name.

OK, now I usderstand how someone could have a score of 20,000 five minutes into sutek's tomb!
