MOST species on neopets come out without warning. It's only recently that they started hinting about them beforehand.

The meerca is one example, it came clear out of the blue as well, and was even more unexpected because no other species were in the works at the time (like the lutari and our supposed april fool's pet)

Well yes but my point is that without a name it is impossible to find a new pet species. Petpets with numbers are frankly very annoying to me as it means we only know of them as new, and even then you have to know they are coming or have a clue to look for them (eg new world).

Like Scythe says it is usual practise for new species to come as a suprise, without a name we can't find the images.

The Yurble is good, it made me laugh. I think it is a bit "busy" though, what with the Father Christmas beard, candy cane ear...things and the green paws and fur around the eyes.

Apparently the bruce being a penguin already wasn't enough...
It's okay but the placing of the dorsal fin near the tail seems a bit odd o_O
