No, it's not the same add. This one features kids trying to dress their pets up as Neopets.

There's a poor, poor black cat who's being dressed as a wocky (I think) and a dog who has been stuck in a scorchio outfit. I think that's animal cruelty!

Something along the lines of "don't dress your pets up as Neopets (like most of the rugrats in Aus know what Neopets are), get Neopets at McDonald's! 15 species in a range of mystical colours. And a free card in each one (The TCG hasn't been released in Adelaide, to my knowledge). Each colour is a surprise! (cue the danging quiggles)."

So...yeah.

I haven't missed a simpsons episode this week... (I have alarms going off to remind me :roll:

) and I haven't seen one! humph

And can everyone go to the daily giveaway bit on neopets, and tell me if the date has changed for them? It has for me (oct 1st - nov 4th)

It may be cruelty, but it's by far more amusing. Now why couldn't we get that commercial? :lol:

Quite easily, if you have WIN instead of TEN. ^.^;; It was on in the middle time area of the simpsons greatest thing that's on at 7. probably between 7:15 and 7:25.

I have TEN, I watched the Greatest episode thing on at 7 today (It was the first halloween special) (it had paul mcartney int he graveyard)

Must not have shown in WA :cry:

The halloween special was the one on at 6... the one at 7 was the MASA/Homer getting erotic photos one. Titled "they saved Lisa's brain", I think.

So...yeah.

The TCG is sold in Adelaide in a number of places. The computer shop in Arndale has some cards. The Sports Card World near the Maccas in Rundle Mall (Target End) has all the expansions.

Right! Just got back from Arndale, and if anyone has some spares and lives around the area, I'd love to trade with them!

I bought 9 plushies in all, getting a nice weird look from the attendant, who would have been about the same age as me. I got three of each.

Scorchio: 2 starry, green.
Ixi: 2 green, white.
Lupe: 2 red, yellow.

The cards I got were 2 Yellow Shoyru, and one each of Shadow Aisha, Raindorf, Bearog, Red Kougra, Count Von Roo, Green Lupe and Faerie Uni.

I'm willing to trade any of my doubles for anyone else's doubles that lives in the area. ^^

Well here is everything all together...

Those are the three that are availiable, and the TCG that I got with them

(Red Kougra, Bearog and Raindorf)

In a storylike way I shall now tell you how i got them! I ran out of school as fast as I could (all nice and responsible because i just somehow volunteered for the fundraising for next year). My school, is right next to Garden City, one of the largest shopping malls in Perth, so I managed to get my toys straight after school! Another bonus, was that i got there before anyone else at school so I didn't have to bear the embarrasment of specifically asking for three different neopet happy meal toys

I gave my actual happy meal to someone I saw!

Well the toys themselves aren't that great... Very McDonalds style. My Blue lupe's tail is a bit poorly made, the Ixi doesn't stand up great and has a HUGELY out of proportion head and my scorchio is somewhat fat. but other than that, its great that they released something neopets in australia! I'll be getting more pics up soon but my internet and computer is being a bit moody today so that may take a while

If you wanna see closeups, click here, but I'll be adding more to that soon when my comp cheers up!

Very pleased is me! (pardon me for the terrible pictures and lighting)

I want them all!! trust them to release them 2 months before i get to australia

has anyone gotten anything from the daily giveaway? it says it should, but i get a black page with the yellow toolbar and thats it, i was just wondering if thats because i use netscape or something o_O

Nope, blank page for me too, on IE. I wonder if they just recycled the page from the American happy meals and blanked out the page so we wouldn't get anything.
