well it is strangly zafara like, especially the tail and how it stands.. I think the tip of the tail is beautifully done but it's a bit too thin at the bottom (wouldn't have enough muscle to support it lol needs to be way thicker). The ears, tufts of hair and face are wonderful they seem very detailed and cute. The stance is pretty good it seems to have quite a bit of a tummy though (also if it did have a tummy the lump would be lower down so i'm not quite sure what it has). The legs would probably have to be a big bigger (esepecially the far one) to support a body that size. The thing i don't like though is the non-pointing hand the whole paw looks strangly 2-dimensional so that you can't tell if it's beckoning towards you or is telling you to stop or what?(also it's disproportionate to the thin shoulder) as to the pointing hand it's too thin at the bottom and then thickens towards the end but that's not too bad. near the claws there's a strange curve in the hand and i'm not quite sure why they did that. the err spikes? (little ball like things running down the back) take away from the effect in my opinion since in the upper back they're too big and towards the tail they end in kind of a weird spot but maybe's that's just me.. (perosnally i think they should get rid of the claws and back things to make it more kangarooish since it has a very kangaroo-ish face)
You do have to remember, though, that this isn't going to be the standard Bori image. It's a pose they used for the promotion. As Armi said, it's been pointed out that the Bori's normal pose will be on all fours, which I think will generally negate the similarities between it and the Zafara.
I mean, even now, after looking at it for a while, the only thing that even remotely reminds of a Zafara is the tail.
And yea, in this pose it is vaguely kangaroo-like, but once again, it's just a case of the pose. The Bori is, apparently, supposed to be an armadillo-inspired pet, hence the plates (not spikes) on its back and the claws (presumably used for digging).
Hopefully, though, it won't be too long before TNT posts the proper Bori images. That way we can see what it's going to look like 99% of the time.
