A few clues to the plot? It's aaall in the TCG cards. For example, that "Mr. Gelert" is a thief by the name of Kanrik who (from what I've collected) has plans into tricking Hannah into doing his dirty job for him by stealing... well... you read the first chapter...

actually, they arent at terror mountain yet.... or the lost desert....

Accordind to measuremean of 1 cm equalling 100 miles on the Neopia Map, from Krawk Island to Lost Desert its atleast 300 miles or more, and to Terror Mountain about 400 or more miles, thats alot travelling.

Anyway, I was looking at the Lost Desert map and I realised that I had never even questioned this Sphinx like monument:

Why is this here? What is this? Is that a doorway between the front paws? Perhaps the secret tomb that Hannah seeks is beneath this strange monument.

I'm pritty sure the tomb is in Terror Mountain...i mean, they did call it Hannah and the Ice Caves :p

Doesn't have to be. They said the key to the treasure in terror mountain is in a tomb with strange markings which Hannah thinks she may have seen in the lost desert. So perhaps they go to the lost desert first and then to terror mountain.

EDIT: I have an idea! I was looking at the TCG checklist (http://www.neopets.com/tcg/checklist.phtml?edition=6)and from these cards:
Lower Ice Caves
Brooch of Warmth
Awakening
Bori Guard
Keeper of Time
Heart of the Mountain

I think that the key they're looking for is something to melt the Ice and release the Bori's who have been gem diggers for a long time. Hmm, maybe they should've put off releasing the Bori till the plot got to that point.
Not to mention that they'll open the tomb and have this scary creature after them:
Bringer of Night
Bori Miner
Mark of Ta-Kutep

And looks like Hannah will team up:

thats a leftover from the brucey b lost desert plot, sloth opened the tomb with bruceys coin if i remember correctly, found a heap of treasure and a evil sceptre with created the rock beast, which everyone fought.

the shockwave files of it are floating around the internet, not sure if they are still on neopets anymore.

I am sure it is the tomb of Ta-Kutep. I bet when Hannah enters it she is cursed and thats why she gets the tatoo.
