I think I converted my grains to the wrong kind of pounds. Rats. :( I think this was a GREAT LC, especially in light of the thread we had last we regarding the balance and bias of metric to english units in th LC's. I don't even care if I got it wrong, I love this kind of stuff. Hoo-ah!

I knew a guy named Kip once. He was a jerk.

The funny thing about this one is that most of the conversions can be found in the back of any basic composition notebook.

By the way, does anybody know how to convert cubic measure to liquid volume?

Would it be too revealing to tell what a kip is?

"He fills it with a clear, odorless liquid with a density of about 3,678,675 grains per US hogshead."

Density = mass per volume.

Sorry, is this too much info?

(density)(volume)=mass (mass or wieght)
Were volume is cm3, normal density is
grams/milliliter, and wieght is in grams.

Don't forget to convert grains per Hogshead into grams per Milliliter

I probably messed up pretty bad, but I had to try. My answer is too huge! It's a TEN digit number. Huh oh. I submitted it anyways.

Neither grams nor milimeter is an international standard. Kilograms and meters are though. Not that it matters much in this Lenny though..

I don't have a composition notebook handy, what I did was look up the relevant measures at dictionary.com.

A few of the conversions Google can do for you. I always forget that Google can do this: type 3 fathoms in meters (or yards or furlongs or whatever) and the first thing it lists when you search will be the answer. Nifty. Most of the measures are too obscure even for Google, though.

I hope that wasn't too much of a hint.

I also hope I did my math right.
