I guess it makes sense that you have to get the Lab Ray before the PPLR, but I still don't like it.

Why don't they make a game to win Lab Ray Pieces? I understand not doing it for the other treasure maps, as that would kinda screw up prices for certain rare objects, but it's not like the Lab Ray is something you can sell.

Why don't they make it so that all PETS painted or otherwise changed by the Lab revert back to orgional (like the Ice Bori) when they leave the owner's account? It makes the same sense :evil:

especially seeing as my lab is on my side account...I think that's unfair, what about if people want to move on from an account with labbed pets and transfer them with the move? They'd have to buy the lab all over again...I think the whole keeping-labbed-petpets-attached thing is kinda dumb...why don't they just make it so that you can't sell or trade them but you can move them around pets and accounts!

TnT probably thinks that allowing them to be moved from account to account would just make people sell them in ways taht they can be frozen for. It would almost encourage a Black Market of sorts for Labbed PetPets....sadly this looks like another situations where the dishonest make it really hard for those of us who play by the rules.

Does the age stay on a petpet, and if so, can you get aged petpet avatars from this?

Yeah, you shouldn't be able to sell or trade them but take them off pets. And maybe if you click on it in your items you can choose to put it in your SDB and etc, but also an option to revert it back to normal?

We don't know yet, they haven't yet been released.

The name of the pieces were found a while back, and were in the previous unreleased thread

I'm not hugely concerned about them reverting back. I have a petpet gallery that I've been working on for 2 years. It would just stink if those petpets I spent months saving for became cheap.

And making lab pets revert back if they were transferred would be just stupid. I don't use my Lab Maps for myself, I use them to zap fosters. If they did that, I'd have no use for the Lab anymore.

It would be nice to be able to put them in your Gallery or SDB though...I'd love the lab-only colors in my gallery.
