It is deffinatly worth it. If you are willing to risk your pets changing species/gender/colours you don't like, I recomend buying it if you have the money. You can get all nine pieces at the trading post, although the search function is a little borken now :P

When I bought mine, I got it from the wiz. Buying them in sets off the TP is actually not very good, because the completed sets usually have an inflated price when sold all together. :)

If you really want one, make it your mission to search the Wiz for pieces every day. Give yourself like 2 weeks during which you'll complete it. Buy up the ones that look low in price, and if after a while the ones you're missing have not been underpriced, buy them at the set Wiz price. ::shrugs:: It's definitely worth having.

You can find whole maps in the trading post. I use it every day and so far it has saved me about 200k, and I've had it for a little over two months. I'd recomend buying one if you can. They cost around 570k - 600k I got mine for 560k :D

As in an actual image of the completed map?

Well, apparently the page on PPT isn't working right now. I just sent whoever manages the PPT site (Yukio?) an email notifying them about the error. I assume they have images of the completed maps there.

Used Google to find another image though. Click here

What are they going for now, anyway (approximately)? I bought mine years ago and it was less than 100k... I remember thinking it was overpriced then. ;) I sort of want one for my secondary account so I can do that "adopt, zap and adopt out" thing.

You really shouldn't use the TP because people inflate the heck out of the complete set. The first thing you should do is go to this site to see the 9 pieces you need: http://www.neononsense.com/maps.html.

Then, if you really want to save some neopoints, check the wiz for the cheapest price for each of them. Just buy the piece that is shown on the wiz and not any of the others in the shop because a lot of times people will have one piece of a map really, really cheap and then inflate the other pieces in their shop for thousands more. It will take a bit of time to do, but is worth it in the long run.

By the way, the prices right now are about 60,000 each for seven of the pieces and about 70-75k each for the other two. However, this jumps around a lot--just a few days ago, each of the seven pieces were around 70K each with the other two about 95K each.

Heck YES!!! I've been so happy with the lab map! Unless it changes the speices of my quiggle of course. Then I cant use my awsome quiggle boomerangs. =(

Anywho, I've got several rare colors by the lab map! (and a few not so rare ones) Fire, Tyrannian, Faerie, Skunk, Purple, Faerie again... :P

But it is a bit of a risk, and I would suggest you use codestones for your battling pet. Although, thats just me, I've never had real luck with stats other than HP and Movement...

With the war and everything, I suggest you wait till its over, then there'll be a big deflation.

If you battledome, it is worth it. If you do not, it is a long way to go to get a specific pet or color. I think it is highly enertaining and do recommend it for anybody who can afford it.

I bought my pieces of the wiz when they were only like 25k a piece and I've had it for over a year now and I LOVE it, the colors it changed my pet and stats too. But it has easily paid for itself 10 fold but now that the pieces are soo expensive i see it as a gamble. Get it if you bd, but other than that b/c it is so expensive, and you don't get and neopoints at all for using it, so if you don't bd it will nevern pay for itself. I say yes if you bd no if you don't
