I'm not sure if anyone else has made a topic on this (if they have please lock and post url) but on the coming soon page it now reads Meerca Chase 2!! This will be cool to see It better be better then the original

I wonder why the easy NP-earning games are always replaced by harder 'sequel' games that barely give you any NP at all for your efforts playing them?

If they get rid of Meerca Chase, I'm quitting Neopets.

Meerca chase was ruined when they changed the background color from grey to blue. It's never played the same for me after that, harder to get NP. I used to be able to get 800 easily on it, and now I can barely get 250.

They'll probably take it off. And do what they did with Destruct O Match.

I think its ok to remake games and have them reduce the NPs earned, so you play The other games too instead of just one. Just my 2 cents

Errm... I dont see the big problem, sure, its harder since the background turned blue, and they removed the really fast cheat thing. But I think sequels tend to make more neopoints. I mean, look at destructo match 2, its better than the original and I earn more neopoints in it because there is another mode.

Maybe... But... But... Meerca Chase was the first Neopets game I ever played... And I like to keep old sentimental stuff...

Blarg, I rarely do stuff on Neopets anyway, so it doesn't matter too much.

Its the first game I've ever played to... but come on! The game'll still be there, just in the graveyard and you cant send the score.

Er, I remember something else that was on the Coming Soon section a long, long time ago--something to do with schools? And, knock me down with a feather if we ever see the infamous Neoschools open for business.

Perhaps, if we all concentrate really hard, the staff will feel our brainwaves and decide not to change Meerca Chase.

As for myself, I am still miffed that the most fun game ever (though I stunk at it) was taken off: Mutant Graveyard of Doom. I loved that game!!!

And, I get teary thinking of Techo Says being buried alive in the game graveyard. I really liked that game and was good at it. And, I miss those squeaky little voices the pets had.

Personally, I cant belive they removed Alpine Challenge and Omelette Defender... *sniff* those were my favorite games back in the other account. *sniff* I was on the Highscore table for Mutant Graveyard of Doom, but it was a lucky thing and I didnt really like the game. I still miss Techo Says, I was actually good at that game! But I got over it... and there are some awsome games that are on! Like freaky Factory, Dice Escape, Volcano Run, and who can forget Whack a Staff!

I suppose they would remove the "buggy" games because it would effect the overall feel of the site, or they just want to retire some trophies. But the games that are removed are still in the game graveyard, you can still play it, its not like its gone forever. I really dont think mourning over a few games is worth it. You can still play it, its just that you cant send the score. Well, games are supposed to be fun right? Not because of the Neopoints it gives... right?

I loved Meerca Chase. Just recently I said it's the longest running game on Neopets. I think they spy on me and make everything opposite of what I like. Meh.
