Okay, lets try and work this out... Paying for stuff doesn't really work out. Members Only Items are a major jiff, everyone hates them. Premium can and should work, if done right. You can have PRemium Members having slight benefits, but nothing that will make other people overly jealous or angry.

Use real $$$ to increase shop size.

sorry, but I can see so many problems in this it's scary. How would this work out? Free to open shop, then $0.50 for the first upgrade + 50 extra cents for every next upgrade?
I'm on size 20 and I would NOT be willing to pay $30000 just to get to shop size 100. And if money increments didn't happen, you would have rich snobby kids with size 50000 shops, but nothing to put in them. NO, I would NOT like to pay to increase shop size.

Make neopets players actually pay real $$$ for ads like the noticeboard onsite like to advertise a guild or shop(its better then looney toons).
The poor noticeboard would be emptier than some of TNT's promises.

Free garlic bread halves for $1
I'm hoping that was a joke.
Paying for Dubloons would also be kinda crap.
There were however a few good points made here. Premium Members should get the following benefits:
Quote:
Quickstock or hold 60 items more.
Maybe make that 100?

Webhosting and image storing on neopets servers.
I think that Neo had something similar to that before. It was called Neodrives, I think. But Premium Members should get an allocated amount of server space to host their images on.

A money tree reserved for those who pay (who uses the money tree anyways)
Thats also a possibility, although I don't know how many Premium Members would donate to this tree, or how many would feel so happy after picking up a Piece of Wool, or an Old Boot.
A big thing TNT might do if they were desperate, would be to allow Premium Members to have 5 pets. I don't really see too much of a problem with this to tell the truth. Most people don't have 4 pets anyway, and missing out on an extra one will not break anyone's heart.
Maybe Premium Users could also get the option to switch off Random Events. And to prevent 'cheating' (i.e. turning off REs whilst doing something important, then turning them back on), TNT could make a lock so that if you turn off REs, you cannot turn them on for 24hours, and visa versa.
Heck, even giving Premium Members the chance to go into a 'Lottery' to win one of those rare 2% discount cards could be a possibilty.
There are plenty of things TNT can do to give Premium Members a feeling that they are not wasting their money on crap, but also not giving them major avdvantages, like on Runescape.
Remember that all this comes from a person who does not pay for Premium
