Horde the chocolate items for the snow faerie items before the day comes?,I am sure there is a lot of persons doing that right?Anyway my profit is now 4million...,so how much nps did you make from the snow faerie?Ps. this is my first post and thread.I love to lurk ,and a hoarder is different from a inflator .

Actually, someone here on PPT tipped us off weeks ago about the fact that chocolate prices had drastically dropped and that it had to be because of Taelia's frozen state. I didn't hoard at that time, but I did decide to not take anything that was chocolate, snow, or baked out of my SDB (and I had a lot of stuff tucked away) to sell and instead just wait until Taelia had been "saved." Smart move on my part.

And the reason why I love PPT so much. We get everyone's hunches and experiences long before the general Neopets population has a clue.

yep I didnt hoard chocolate I used to do that shop but I never got any dark chocolate only white really now my forte is in books maybe those will go up someday

Meh, I RS'd some chocolate today, but it didn't sell out fast, so I'm guessing it was nothing special. XD How do you tell the difference between regular chocolate and chocolate that gets you a profit? Oo;

now THAT'S what I want to know. that's why I suck at RSing - because I don't know what's rare and when I stumble across something that is, I don't know it XD

My tip is you kind of learn eventually from several restocks which ones are rare and which arent the ones that go really quick are rare and you eventualy get to know their names (Just my experience) there are some websites out there which tell you which are good restock items

They're almost the same, but not quite I've only made 700k off of sales, being a food collector, it was difficult for me to let them go. Looking over my SDB, I do have the potential to make as much as you did multiplied by the square root of 25, though. Oh yeah, and welcome to the forums.

As for which chocolates will allow you to make a profit...if the item rarity is above 60, you should be able to make a profit off of the item. However, it will be difficult to sell food with rarity index between 86-89, since quests do not ask for them, with the exception of the Esophagor and Spooky Foods of course! This is something that most of Neopia still doesn't know. To get an idea of what items have a rarity of 60 or above without really knowing anything about the items, it should become fairly obvious to you after spending some time in the shop. The items in the shop that are last to go are the ones that you will make little or no profit from. Hope this helps.

I didn't exactly go out of my way to hoard. I was a Choc Factory restocker to begin with. I just decided to put the items in my shop and price them when the Faerie is thawed. I made a nice profit.

I made 1.8 million off of the Bakery hoarding

I didn't want to spend any neopoints. *stupid*
