Happened to me once on my old account. Came out of the clear blue sky. I don't think you should worry about it till you get iced, like I did- that way you may contest the warnings that you believe were without justification beyond a reasonable doubt.

Did you post on the neoboards? Did you neomail someone recently? Did you post on the guild message board?

That might be the reason.

A couple of people I know have gotten random warnings for the same thing with no idea why. Hmm... I always thought it was people reporting them...perhaps someone reported you? Sometimes it seems like TNT doesn't check to see if the reporters are correct...

This is a bit random, but is it just me or does it seem like a TON of people are getting warnings/frozen at the moment? o_O

Well, maybe TNT is angry because they live in Cali with no snow/winter, so they're makin' a little ice themselves. ;)

Yeah, it does seem like there have been a lot these last few days.

Sorry about that omni - i say mail em and ask to see what you did wrong, it can't hurt, can it?

They have been known to withdraw warnings in the past.

I've been doing that for three months now. The support team has mailed me with a rather gloomy outlook, but I have received NOTHING from the Frozen team.

You have been through too much already. My guess is that someone reported you--falsely and lying through their teeth--and the staff person who reviewed that report relied on what the person stated and didn't actually check to see if you had done anything wrong. Those report boxes allow the reporter to change wording/embellish whatever the heck they want.

For those of you who don't already know, I have first-hand proof (from my daughter's frozen account last December) that the staff does just that: relies on a user's report rather than actually look to see if anything wrong occurred.

So, does anyone have it out for you? I mean, it could even just be someone who is jealous of your stats, pet, etc. making up smurf about you.

This kind of stuff makes me really insane--because anyone who knew your username could make up crud about you--even though it wasn't true--and get you warned/frozen because of it. :x

Tested made this fabulous set for me!!! Isn't it great?

Absolutely true. TNT is really idiotic to let people modify the post of the person they are reporting. Whatever is that for?! People can just change a totally innocent post into one which breaks the TOC, and the mods don't even bother to check the accuracy of the report. :x

I've gotten a warning out of the blue on an old account before. I had no idea what it was for. It scared me for awhile....then since nothing ever came of it I just went along on my merry way. I still wish I knew what it was for. Eh, try not to worry.

That's quite a bummer :( I've accidentally reported people. One time it was when I clicked on a chain letter, but the page was loading goofy, so I ended up clicking the post below it. I sent an apology afterwards to the staff to disregard it and the person I accidentally reported, but that saddens me if they don't pay attention.

Perhaps someone accidentally reported you when trying to report another user?

Before you kill yourself thinking. Take down the date and time of the warning. Then state it clearly when writing to the support section of "contact us".

Ask for a specific reason as to why you were warned including quotes where neccesary. Then you can go from there in justifying their mistake if there was one.

Since. I have been asking them to quote the exact problem for a while now. they never do. So whenever I get a warning. I mail about it. To find out EXACTLY what it was for. Otherwise. How can you know??

I chase up every single warning I recieve. Because many times they have been discounted for the fact the person who warned misunderstood.

NOTE: Also just for people who believe in "post modifications" I have never in my whole time of asking for reasons. Came accross a modified post. I don't believe this is true. The box is only editable so you can add a note. Maybe wiotha reference to another account of this person breaking rules. So there is nothing to worry about there I believe. And trust me. They warn me about anything and everything.

If you dissagree please pm me with proof. No gues work. I mean the email they sent complete with modified post. As no one yet has had this kind of evidence.
