The quests items are always the same few ones so the price of them tend to inflate. But they will deflate soon after people find the quests too expensive and stop doing them. But once they become cheap people will start doing them and they will inflate again.

As a kind reminder abbreviated vulgarities are not allowed here, so I'd suggest you change the title of your topic.

The esophagor items are generally very cheap with the odd very expensive one. Snow faerie was always expensive. getting a cheap one is just luck. It's still remotely possible to get a profit doing expensive quest since show faerie can give you DBD and such i believe

It's really random, I'll get a quest that costs 30 np, then I'll get one that costs 20k. It just all depends on your luck and the availability of the items I guess.

<STOWA|Sleep> my sister questioned the title. "Half Blooded Prince? Does that mean he's a Moogle"

Check the quest page, you might have rejected a quest and forgotten about it

I agree with you. I've been trying to do quests from snow/kitchen/esophager, and all I get is expensive ones. They always ask for items worth way more than 20k. I haven't actually done a quest in a long time. I wait for the time to run out and try again, but it's always expensive items :(

same here! I did doe a snow faerie quest because of course I wanted the av. It cost around 16k.

Tried the esophagor the other day after reading the topic here - asked for a candy skull?!! Yesssssss, I'll feed you a UB - NOT!

Kitchen quests ended up the same - the first couple were very reasonable, though since I have more than one pet the only stat increase I got from a k-quest went to the wrong pet. Then they started getting into the realm of 20K or more.

At this point I just don't do them. The one thing I really would like to see is just for normal faerie quests? When you get one and complete it - the stat goes to your active pet, not random. Very annoying when you're training a pet and your other pets benefit, not the one you're trying to get stronger, more hp, etc.

I think that was in the good old days. She no longer gives out the DBD I fear. :(

The last two quests I've gotten from the Esophagor involved unbuyable spooky foods. :(

The primary reason for expensive quests right now is that many people want the Taelia avatar. This has caused sweets and some food items to skyrocket in price. The KQ fish asks for some of the same items so it affects those quests as well.

That said I have done I think 4 KQ today. I spent about 17k on one, and around 4k on the other. The other two were under 1k. I am waiting out an extremely expensive quest right now. I do think these costs will go down as people who want the Taelia avatar get it and there isn't as great a demand.

I have actually been quite lucky with the snow faerie quests lately. I have only spent about 2K on each quest. For prizes, I've been receiving neopoints almost equal to what I spent on the quest, as well as a snowball and another item. So I've been profiting off the snow faerie quests.

Kitchen quests are another story. Every time I try one of those, the total for the quest is close to 20K and the reward is definitely not worth it.
