Some of you may recall Test Your Strength getting its jackpot wiped clean and TNT convenientally forgetting to tell us like they promised as to what happened to it. Well currently (as of 11:56 AM NST on Jan 11, 2005) the jackpot is an amazing 237,534,200 NP.

I wish I had that in my bank, but I know better than to get my hopes up of winning it. Does any one recall what the Jackpat was before it got wiped clean mysteriously?

I dont remember but I would looove to win that jackpot, although who ever wins it will probably get frozen for acquiring too many neopoints!

You really would get frozen. I forget who it was, but a while ago on PPT someone did some tests with TYS. They figured out that you cannot win the prize and even if you could, you'd get frozen anyway. So it's a loose/loose situation.

...Even so...it would be nice to win it.

LOL I thought there was a cap on how many neopoints you can have on hand? And I seem to remember it's significantly less than that But yeah, I would love to win that jackpot, although it's meant to be impossible

Accually, if I recall, someone here posted a Screeny of "winning" TYS. Instead of chasing in on the JP, you get an error message saying "sorry, your score could not be sent"

I remember it was around 200k...

They will probably clean that jackpot soon...

I'd love a jackpot. i hope i win it when it's only like 75M so i can spend it immediately and give them no time to freeze. I guess it will get wiped like the other in a few more days or hours

I dont remember what the jackpot was before it was wiped clean but I would say guess it was around somewhere between 100,000,000 and 200,000,000 when it was wiped clean.

Don't believe any screenies of people reaching the Jackpot. It's impossible to win but there is a section which you can click to cause the red bar to go higher and higher without winning the prize from where the red bar ends...I'll screeny it in a second

Its impossible to get that money. Your np erases and becomes 1np if you have 41 million or above on hand.

So if you win, all of the jackpot+the money you had on hand before will turn into 1np.

they how can u buy big ticket items such as super attack pea? etc

You can only bid 800k or less on trades. The only way to buy the expensive stuff is to bid in items.

Anyway back to this topic. I not so sure it impossible to win the Jackpot.

Why?

Because I seem to remember seeing someone with 100 points one time on the TYS High Score Table and TYS Jackpot reseting that day. (I also seem to remember there being a topic on PPT Forums in the General Chat section with people here wondering how that person got that score. That topic was how I found out about it and it also had a link to the TYS High Score Table in it.)

The name with 100 points was removed hours later for some reason. (Remember TYS has a scoring system out of 100 with 100 equaling the Jackpot)


There is only 2 reasons I can think of how that username got a score of 100 and why the name with 100 was removed.

1. That person hacked into the TYS High Score Table and put that score for plenty of people to see(but not a lot remember) and it really is impossible to win(and the person's username was removed for cheating with the user then being iced.)

2. That score was legit and the person that got that score asked TNT to removed their username from the TYS High Score Table for safety reasons.

I used to believe it was impossible to win the Jackpot after seeing that 100 in TYS's High Score Table and the Jackpot reseting that day I not so sure now that it is impossible to win the Jackpot.

Wasnt there a topic here several months ago about someone winning the TYS Jackpot, and losing it because they tried to put it all in the bank?
