Between technicalities, delayed editorials, things just not working in general, stalled plotlines, and other stuff, does anybody have any idea what's going on right now?

Or maybe they've just had a busy few weeks. We don't know what goes on behind the scenes, with the stuff that they do to benefit the user =P

Remember, they're real people with lives too :)

Gone, forever.

I'm thinking that they burned out after the holidays. I give them until the end of January to sort things out.

EDIT: Looks like the PPT mods are a bit sensitive too. At least I deserve an explanation other than the one you're implying with that action, like a reply that says "YOU KNOW THAT ANSWER. DON'T BRING IT UP AGAIN. EVER." It scares me that people here can be so fast. Neopets needs people like you to straighten things out.

ANOTHER EDIT: Oh. Okay, thanks for explaining that. That makes sense now. But the thing about you guys being needed for Neopets still stands.

You have to realise, that we, like TNT are human too. It takes us a moment to reply on locked threads, so contain your enthusiasm and let us do our job. AND THEN if you have a problem feel free to contact a staff member to whine, rather then taking it out on us publically. I don't think thats fair to anyone on this forum... not to the staff, to the members or to yourself.

In case you didn't read the Neopian Times from last week, Donna stated that she and Adam had had the most horrendous last few weeks. And, as I stated a few days ago (in another thread) when people were complaining of the same thing: "Geez, give them a break. Horrendous could mean anything from death in the family to 1/2 of the employees walking out to a lost contract with a big sponsor to floods in the office. All of which could greatly affect anyone. I would rather have Adam and Donna sane and recovered from this than any new games, old Guildmaster puzzles, war prizes, new editorials, or timely news updates. Their well-being is a lot more important than providing updates to a virtual reality game. Personally, I can wait." That includes my flaming evil coconut formerly known as the original Number Six plushie!

And, just to follow through, people should be really nice to the mods here at PPT. They are some of the sweetest people around, do a thankless job for free, and should not ever, ever get grief for anything they do. Ever.

War prizes are already uploaded to the server. For example, type Thieves Dirk on Shop Wizard, and you'll see.

I would say something, but seeing as I had already edited my posts before you said something, I guess I'll let people try to get past the first few lines of what I wrote earlier instead of just glancing at what I said.

Here's what happened:

1) Person posts some info. I find said info to be valid and a bit useful. I try to put my thanks in.

2) I find that it has been locked, and hit "Back" to see why. I find that it has been deleted.

3) I make a remark about why it was deleted. Post is locked within a minute. No explanation.

4) I make another remark about it in the thread I made earlier due to the fact that I don't want to get locked down again with no explanation, but want an answer anyway, and it seemed more likely when it's in somewhere already established.

5) I look at my post again. It has a response that "works for me." I quickly head back to my last remark and thank whoever clarified the situation. Then I wait for additional remarks.

6) One bathroom break later, the mods are here, trying to clear any doubt about their methods. I feel sorry about using caps to exaggerate my message and start to type this.

7) Realizing that this is way too long, I find that the best way to end this would be to say that I'm sorry about any trouble I might have made for anybody and pledge to continually and excessively thank (in my head anyway, heck knows we don't want to hear that) the mods and TNT for their hard efforts and vigilant patrol of their respective areas, with no profit on their part except by the satisfaction that comes with a well maintained website. This person acknowledges the fact that the people that work at Neopets and here are having a hard time enough already, and that any type of straight out whining doesn't make anything easier. Despite the LC incident leaving me slightly bitter, nobody needs that kind of dung thrown at them.

I request (and would appreciate it) that this topic should be locked.

This thread has been locked going by your request. As far as your remarks towards the staff here though, comments like them overall are not appreciated in public. Anything to that degree should be sent by PM to a moderator or administrator and then we'll handle thigns from there.

Please don't let this happen again.
