Am I in danger of getting iced?

Hi peeps.
I am a bit concerned... I've just bought a new pc, which frankly, is a lot faster than my old one... Games load faster , web pages load faster etc.
Well, anyway, I was playing Splat A Sloth, and on my 3rd go, which I got the paltry score of 70 on, as I was trying to send my score , a red warning message came up saying that "My Score was under review by the Neopets team, and if it was deemed valid I would get my points and be placed on the high score table"

Is this bad? Should I be as worried as I am? I have to admit, I have never seen mention of this message before.

I don't think you have to worry.
That always happens when you get a really good score.
If they deem it "valid", you'll go to the highscores board.
If they don't, you could always send them an e-mail telling them the reason for your "score jump".

I could understand it if 70 points was anywhere near a good score - I mean you need 269 points to even get onto the high score table!

I'm just hoping it was a glitch.

Oh ...jeesh, I never really played that game so I wouldn't know how much you need to actually get on the highscore table.

Maybe their system picked up on the speed change or something then? o_O

My friend got that message for a score she got on a sponsor game once -- and they don't even have high score tables =P

they're trying to scare you and by they i mean TNT :evil:

sometimes what happens is they clear the scoreboards, and then people send in low scores, and they are fast enough to get on the board.. then other people bump them off

anyway its not something to worry about, since after you get bumped off they don't bother anymore, it happened to me when i got like 500 on wack a kass, which is not even enough for the avatar!

and they introduced this in the news last year sometime (can't remember when) to try and prevent cheating in the high score tables and stuff

It is a normal thing. Neopets reviews scores quite often now days.

yeah i think it is when ever you get a resonably high score on a game and with splat a slot even a two i high for me they reveiw it

I had that message once and it wasn't a very high score either. Nothing ever came of it.

In some cases (but seemingly not all cases), you get your score reviewed if your score is above a certain amount...

I know for Mootix Drop, that point is 2000 or better... Though i'm pretty sure I'm the only one here capable of that score currently
