I have the birthday sidebar up. Happy birthday to me ;)
but i also have dial up - it is making neo run extemely slowly!
I have a guild account which i have swapped too, to check and there the difference is huge.

It is all very nice to have the birthday sidebar but i really wish i had the option to turn it off. I have tried in user preferences and you do not get the option of turning it off.

It may give more random events (for the record i have had none so far)
but right now it is irritating me.

As a final point i don't have any option other than dial up where i am.

I didn't get any random events when I had the birthday sidebar either.

Knowing TNT, they probably increased the probability of getting one by 0.1% or something :/

I didn't get any either, on my b-day in December.

I did not notice any slowdown.
It might be because of the new imaging system.

Random events i got on my birthday. Bugs stole my np. a stock tip. My pet saying he was hungery. Um a couple non ones to, lol, to funny.

I think I only got one random event on my birthday in December, and it was something like ghosts stealing a few nps for the money tree. I can't say I was impressed.

Happy birthday, though. :)
