Now you can't see the time left...
all time left is replaced with "short" whether it's really short or long

There is also

Medium, Long, Very Long, and Extremely Long.

I was never an auction fan because of the snippers, so I guess i'm glad now because theres a fairer chance for everyone.

Worst is that it's still possible to snipe... You just need another window open, the one with the auctions ending first. You can see the item you're sniping on moving up in this list until it ends... So newbie snipers will have even more difficulties getting items while the more experienced snipers won't have much trouble with it...

What's their idea of short anyway? Is it 1 hour? 2 hours? 24 hours?!

Short....I'm guessing under 15 minutes.
Medium is around 15 minutes to 1 hour and half.
Long is around 1 hour and half to 6 hours.
Very long is 6 hours to 24 hours.
Extremely long is 24 hours+.

Not a very pleasant system. I'm seeing some complaints at the neoboards. How do this feature makes the auctions any better anyway? It just makes the auctions a matter of luck instead of speed.

EDIT: More specific times.

I agree... this is well, in my opinion stupid. It's not like auction sniping was illegal. I could never do it, but it was actually a skill like restocking is. This is just pandering to a bunch of people that whined because they couldn't get an item in the auctions. If they change the RS system, i'll be very upset.

It would have been easier simply to limit the number of auctions any account could purchase in a day.

Yeah, terrible decision on Neo's part. I wouldnt be surprised to see some experienced auction snipers to quit over this. There goes their livelihood.

I'm not really sure what to think about this. :roll:

It just might make the snipers go away, giving people with slower connection speeds who have no hope of out-doing the snipers a fair chance.
I have no idea if it's for the better or for the worse ...
