My pet that got it through a random event was happy, moodwise. I tried to play with it and it's mood sunk to unhappy. I don't want him to turn blue, but it seems the more I play with my pet the more unhappy it gets? :o

Ok, he's not sick now :)

But would be helpful to know if playing with a pet with certain illnesses is harmful, so I can avoid making a mistake.

Location: the petpet puddle, searching for pet matches. my gorgeous set is by _jaye_.
pets' moods will always lower if they're sick with any illness, and playing with them won't help. also, the more you check their lookup, the faster they seem to head towards misery.

The fact you were playing games doesn't make a sick pet's happiness go down. The fact you were viewing a lot of pages does though.
