I think Neopets needs a game show. Not in real life but for the site. It could be live. Each charactor would be role played by a staff member. So it would open up like this:

Smug Announcer Man (roleplayed by staff): Welcome Welcome to the first annual Neopian game show. It's so new we don't even have a name for it. But we are thinking of calling it Something Has Happened becuase in this game lots of stuff can happen! Let's welcome our Celebrity Panel! Say Hi Panel!

Sloth: Mahahahaha. I've rigged up a subliminal message during the commercial break. Opps..did I say that out loud?

Pant Devil: *rocking back and forth* grumble grumble..pants everywhere...must restrain self...

Faerie Queen: *filing nails* Hello, neopians. Can someone make sure I left the hidden tower guarded?

Snicklebeast: Rawr!

Lisha: Hello Neopians, I'll be most pleased to help you with any information you may need.

Now let us welcome our contestants randomly selected from out of millions of neopet users. Let's hear it for _____ ______ and _________!

Smug Announcer Man: All users are present and accounted for. We can begin!

Smug announcer man: I'm beginning to wonder the answer to that myself.

Sloth: Nobody guessed. And I am not telling.

Smug Announcer man: Read the fine print, Dr. Sloth. You have to tell, it is in the contract.

Sloth: Ok. I never leave home with out *mumble mumble*. Oh look at that, seems I have a microphone malfunction.


So you see each round they'd ask the contestants something. There are not any real answers to the questions they ask. They might ask what the pant devils favorite food is, or what is really inside the symol hole or anything. And the contestants have to guess. But the funnier you are the more votes you get. The rest of the users on neopets can vote for their favorite contestants, and the staff can award points to their favorite as well. I think there should be other things like wheels to spin or something else to do. But I don't want the game to be too much like another real life gameshow. But maybe a conglomeration of many different kinds of gameshows. Maybe they can have a "What's behind the door" round where you can pick a door or something. The thing about this is, it would be live, or sort of live. Kind of like responding here at the forum. It is live, but not unmonitored. So if somehow a person said something bad, the responce wouldn't appear immediately, but if it was ok it would appear. But who would be foolish enough to say something bad on the game show knowing staff are reading it? Anyway, do you think it would work? I mean, they do the story telling contest, and it is sort of live, but I guess you have days to respond instead of minutes. I maybe the game would go kind of slow, if you had all day to respond. But it could be fun. What would you do for a game show?

Also I think that during this show lots of random things can happen depending on who is on the celebrity panel. Like if the faerie queen was on the panel, maybe she really could forget to guard the hidden tower and maybe a few people could sneak in. Or maybe if Edna was on the panel she could give a clue like : I think I left something brewing on the stove!
Then you could go in and take a sip of potion. But maybe you wouldn't want to do that. You might end up with some kind of mixed up pet, like a Scorcie.

Yeah, it is sort a game show. But I meant more of a live/semi live kind of triva show.

He means ones with, say, randomly selected contestants hanging around in a particular area at a particular time.

I really like the idea, but the only problem would be randomly selecting a user to be a contestant. People would do dangerous and stupid things to try and get on. So perhaps the more "famous" Neopians could be contestants, or, even better, a prize for winning a contest could be being a contestant on the game show. And by "famous" I mean, common writers on the Neopian Times, or people who win the Caption Contest often....
