so I know or have heard that feeding loads of garlic will change their color to garlic.. I heard of only 1 player that has actually done this and he claims by feeding loads of garlic bread halves did the trick. But my question is this... similar to the garlic avatar and the whole "leek" in portugese language thing... if you feel your jubjub or kiko leek items after you change the language to portugese, do you suppose that will do the trick as well? since leek and garlic are the same in that language.. and leeks are much cheeper in price.. thanks

No one knows if that loophole is entirely safe. I mean, technically it DOES give you an unfair advantage. Garlic Bread Halves are not all that expensive, (1200 np or so, last I checked) so personally, I would rather play it safe than risk my account just to save a few np.

Just because you can get it from the lab doesn't mean there aren't other ways to get it also. TNT has told us flat out that feeding garlic to your jubjub or kiko will do the trick.

I don't know if I'd consider changing your lanugage an "unfair advantage" as the trick is widely known and anyone can do it, but that doesn't mean it's safe.

Dunno, has anyone heard of anyone being frozen for the "change your language and read a book/attach a petpet" trick?

Whether it would just save a few NP depends on how much garlic you buy. :-)

I see no unfair advantage in changing your language settings. Are you only allowed to read in French if you live in France? I think not! How could they possibly know that it is not your native language?

If I wasn't frozen for chaning my country setting to Antartica to avoid ads or making a petpet chinese to attach it to a pet that didn't like it english, why would I be frozen for feeding my pet Leeks?

I think they might have some tracker that tracks what language you are always on. so if you use portugese suddenly and you usually use english, they might get suspicious. But if you're always portugese, it would be fine

Does anyone know for sure if the garlic feeding thing works? So far, I've only heard rumors and never any confirmation by anyone.

I don't see how this is possible b/c feeding any type of food would get a pet bloated and it isn't even clear how much (assuming that this is true) garlic you have to feed it pet.

I just don't see how it is logical, feeding a pet enough of a certain food to change its color? I think it was just a teaser given in the editoral and can't be taken literally.

I agree that the feeding garlic line was just a joke -- like when Adam kept saying that the way to get his Bleh avatar was to have 77,000 (or whatever) bottles of sand in your safety deposit box.
