Playing games is always good. Some are quick and easy, and others are long, but if you practice enough, you might be able to get up to 3000 NP a day on them. Always always get your freebies.

Um, if you are any good at it, restocking or stocks..

Yeah.

Look in the Game Strategies and Help section here for awesome game guides. My Faerie Caves II shows how to get over 1000NP a game. The PPT site has a lot of helpful hints.

I agree with Twizzler, if you're just starting out, games are the way to go. Also open a bank account and put at least half the np you gain from games into the bank - and collect your daily interest!

Also do the dailies - omelette, jelly, fruit machine, coltzan's shrine, tombola and if you like the wheel of excitement. The healing springs will heal your pets if they get sick. Don't worry too much about doing faerie quests until you have some np in the bank. You can say no to a quest (unless it's a Fountain Faerie Quest - those are worth it cause you can paint your pet!).

I play games for my main source of income. I usually get around 7k from bilge dice alone, 3k from HatIC, 3k from turmac roll, 600 from FC, not to mention anything from freebies, stocks and BPS. As the above people mentioned, the main site has oodles of game guides. :) ;)

Also, play the stock market and don't go on a major shopping spree until you've mastered some games and can gain the np back.

Sometimes you can pick an item, and look for it on the Wiz, and if you find someone who has really made that item cheep, you can buy it and then resell it in your own shop.

the amount you make from this depends on what item and what prize you buy and then resell the item at.

That's how I have made just about all of my nps. Reselling items priced too cheaply on the shop wiz which I put in my shop and sell at the going rate. You would be amazed at the deals I have gotten.

Also, I suggest that you do the non-uber faerie quests--kitchen chef, snow faerie, esophagor (but not combined with the Brain Tree), and Edna the Witch. I am extremely conservative in what I spend on them--but have managed to get a very good return from them. I spend no more than 400 each on the Esophagor and the Kitchen Chef, 200 on the Witch, and about 2500 on the Snow Faerie. And, the key is to go back to the questor as often as they will let you. If the quest they give you is too costly, refuse it and come back to them when their time limit is up and ask for another one. And, if the quest they give you is a good one, you can ask for another one from them right after you have completed the first one.

And, find the games you are good at, that pay out well in comparison to time spent on them, and do as many of those as you can per day.

If you have a fast connection you can also try restocking... commonly acknowledged the most profitable way to earn np. Very tedious and takes quite a long time to get the hang of though.
