so i wasn't here on on neo for like 6 months...so i was wondering..what's new?anyone wanna help?

Well, there's a new plot that started a week ago, you should read that...new war probably soon.

Apart from that, not much...new otter-like pet (forget the name of it) to be released later.

Weapons inflated slightly, new avvies, the usual.

You missed the Hannah plot (which was severely disappointing in all respects), a couple pets have been revamped, there is now an additional banner ad at the bottom among other stuff.

ok...any usual items inflated drasticly(sorry for the spelling )?

The Yurble, Ruki, and Bori pets were released. Yurbles looks like bears, Rukis are insects, and Boris are kinda like armadillos. I know the Techo and the Quiggle have been revamped, but there are others.

There's also a new scratchcard kiosk in the Lost Desert, another game in the Jelly World, and a shop that sells musical instruments.

Speaking of plots, you might have missed the Mystery Island one. That was awhile ago.

I think Quiggle, and Techo, not sure though.

Items that were inflated were avatar items like Haunted Weaponry, Pink Paint Brushes, and Popcorn, etc.

Mystery Island Plot was almost 2 years ago.
Yurble's were released about a year ago.
Ruki's were released about 9 months ago..........
They missed Bori's though......

bunch of new easy to get avs wre released. some new TCG sets are out. new banner ads with the promise of even more. the usual

Oh yeah, banners ads on the bottom now. More Adblock fodder.

There was a huge glitch in mid-November where everyone's SDB's were set back one or two days (can't remember)--anything put into it during that time period disappeared. Anything taken out during that time period magically reappeared. But, the good news is that it was the first time the Neopets actually compensated its average, ordinary players for those missing items (those who filed bug reports and listed what was missing, anyway).

Also, Neopets is now suspending accounts, rather than freezing accounts, for minor infractions of rules.

Don't know if you were around then--but the kougra got a new revamp. We even got to vote on it.

And, you missed some truly awesome animation (visual and audio) for the advent calendar. The advent calendar did have its share of glitches--but overall, the prizes were very sweet and were tied to the theme of that day's animation. No PBs though.

Can't forget the ads--lots of controversy over those. Lots of laggy pages and a few un-family-like ads. But, I suppose they pay the bills.

Oh, and premium. When did that come out? *scratches head* You can now pay to play Neopets--for certain amount per year, you get special things, which includes a premium only board, special prizes here and there, and best of all, no ads.

Premium has been around for at least a year, I think. Wasn't it grouped in with a Neopets-based ISP at one point aswell?

It still is (although most users are opting for just the e-mail/portal/no ads option)

The best way to find out what happened on Neo is to read all the news they posted while you were gone. Then you can see pictures of all the new pets, colors, items, etc.

when i went the premium thing was only for mail or something like that...well i guess they had to do it...
as for the advent calendar....i'm sorry i missed it too...i logged in one day and got the avatar,but that's it it was pure coincidence(sp?:) )
