Sorry, but this game is only available to the beta testers of the Neopets Portal.

Can a beta tester go to
http://www.neopets.com/challenges/world_chall.phtml
and tell me what its all about. If its good enough it might just make me get neopets premium.

As far as I know I think that that isn't a game, but is a page where you can send challenges to other neo users... but I may be wrong...

Yeah..I won the Merca Chase one a few times...apparently you get neopoints/items depending on the number of people who participate in the king of the hill type tournament...

It was previously called Daily Competition. It would randomly choose a flash game (It even chose the retired Earth Faerie Aces game once) that people would play. You would enter the competition by paying a small fee: 10 to 120 NP depending on the hour of the day:
1&2: 10
3&4: 20
5&6: 30
....
23*24: 120

Every time you entered, you would then go and play the game and send score. This score would be sent to the database, and compared to the score of another user, thus determining a winner. Record was kept of the number of wins and losses you had, over the course of one hour.

Timed like this:
2 to 3: enter the contest and play
3 to 3:30: finish up matches
3:30 to 4: ranks determined and prizes rewarded.

The previous beta of this took your money like it was supposed to... but didn't reward people for their wins... :roll:

I think that explains most of it...

I actually found this a while back when it was available for all users to try out. I lost most of the time I challenged someone, but it was quite fun. After a few days passed though it stopped becoming available for Unpremium Users. I found it through Google...Tehehe

I think it's probably only for those who pay for Premium... but shouldn't it then say Premium users rather than Portal testers?

It doesn't mean Portal testers. It means premium members who can beta test the games.
