I think it's pretty obvious it was fixed... o.o

But then people on the NeoBoards yelled at me and said I was just a sore loser... even though I was a Maraquan Supporter... 0.0

I think it was.
They didn't even show us the point scores of either side this time.
I know those could have been fixed too, but the fact that they hide the scores makes you kinda think. :P

I doubt it was, I mean they could have had the pirates lose the war but still have maraqua win overall (didn't they do that in another war?) but from being on several fan sites it seems the majority of warriors and supporters were on the Maraquan side. So if we could see war points I reckon Maraqua would have won fair and square :)

I'm not sure but the good guys always win which seems odd.

I reckon the whole plot was predetermined at the beginning, including the outcome.

I don't think they would want to draw everything for two different outcomes.

That's just what I was about to say.
So yeah, I think they did plan it out. Besides, if the Pirates won, they would take over Maraqua and we'd basically have an under water Krawk Island. Then they'd have to add more to Maraqua that shows the pirates won. That's more work for them to do.

Definately. They have rigged every side war so far except for Meridell vs Darigan. The fact they didn't give any indication of points during the war and that the plots came regularily means they probably only planned on one outcome...

Definitely, without any trace of a doubt, that war was Pina Colada.

Same. I reckon if the Pirates had obtained more points than the Maraquans TNT would have done something like the Meridell vs Darigan plot where everyone had to fight again so in the very end good won anyways.

If you like Pina Colodas...! Getting caught in the rain...

... C'mon, you knew someone was bound to do it. And she's right... you can't type that out with a straight face. :P

Yes, I believe the war was rigged... I doubt they made an entire seperate plot just in case the pirates were in the league.

Of course it was fixed. This plot was the worst yet. The story line was a bland copy of Pirates of the Caribbean plus others, the characters were drastically changed from the original plot of which, the pirates won, they copped out and only gave us the option to choose sides because people got so accustomed to fighting that way, they actually listened to a bunch of NEWBIES and WEAKLINGS whining about stronger neopets, the "solution" ended up making this bogus war too easy for these poor excuses for fighters, it was too hard for everyone who deserved the high scores, the ending was not only half smurf but it was premature and came without warning. And the worst part of all, is that they're STILL putting off the Dr. Sloth plot. :x

If there is even a HINT of this kind of stupidity in the next war, I'm not fighting. Screw new avatars/trohpies. It's not worth it.

O_O -stab- It's stuck in my head now.

EDIT: Yeah, they did use so many PotC stuff...

And The Little Mermaid, too. :x (the stuff with the Drenched)

Having looked at the Points Boasting final tally on the Council of War board I think it's fairly obvious that the war didn't need to be fixed. From our sample (ie ppt people) Maraqua had over double the points that the Pirates did.

Now that isn't an exact representation of how it panned out over all but it's probably a good indication. I really don't think that tnt *need* to fix wars now (eg this one and last one) as so many more people always sign up for the good guys, either because they like the trophies more or just because more people are going to be drawn to the good side. And in this case many people were excited about seeing Maraqua again so they were less likely to fight against Maraqua.

So overall I think whilst tnt would have fixed the results if necessary, they really didn't have to :)
