Hey there..... so went to neoptes just after midnight, and found my sidebar was crazy colors and had confetti.... then i went to my userlookup, and realized, HEY, its my BIRTHDAY ON NEOPETS! YAYYYY! *which means ive officially been on it for four years*

Before any poo begins, im not asking for birthday stuff. I wasnt born on July 13th.... I created a new, unscammed, unfrozen account on july 13th 3 years ago.... not born then. Okay? okay.

SO. anyway.
I wanted to know if anything good comes with this sidebar.... first of all, is there a way to save it so I could still use it? Or is it ONLY available on your birthday? Also, what does it do for me? Does it increase random events or something? *in which of couse, i would spend my day playing pyramids so i get more RE's....* Or..... is there a misfortunate event that it does nothing but look pretty....?
*puts on pointy-cone hat and breaks a pinata* *then gets the avatar for breaking the pinata*

I believe that...
A. It's not unlockable. So it's just here for today.
and B. It increases random events.

The only days you'll see the sidebar is on your birthday and Neo's birthday.

It's supposed, and I stress supposed to increase your chances of good re's. As I recall, I didn't have one re on mine, not even Adee and her badges.

Yeah supposed to... But from my own experience and friend's they didn't have much extra luck... :/

I had awesome luck on my birthday. I think I may of gotten all your Random Events I got a Nerkmid, Techo Trans, Lab piece, Spooky Piece and a Treasure Piece. Let's hope your birthday is a prosperous.

That's odd. According to my account I should have had it on July 4th when I created my account but I didn't get it.

Is this B-day sidebar only happening twice to some accounts?

I mean I had the sidebar on my B-day in June, but not on the same day as I had created my account in July.

Or did I not get it because the time is too close to when I had my real birthday?


As for B-day I got a few RE's but it was quite dissappointing. They were the pointless and ghost taking np ones mainly. The ones that gave items seemed to be on my side accounts. I doubt I got any items worth 10k or more.

I think the best I got was a spooky treasure piece on my side account.

Actually, you might get the avatar on YOUR REAL birthday, not on your neopets one.... when you create your account, is there a place to put your birthday? Because many people dont put in their correct birthdays. for example, to make things easier, i probably just put in the day i created my account. Maybe you put in a day that wasnt your regular birthday and so it might appear on some day that you werent expecting.... and either that day hasnt come yet, or it passed without you knowing and you werent on neopets or something.

I got diddly on my birthday. Except an annoying sidebar.

I remember playing Pyramids and Solitaire and being extra active on the boards ...and still all I got were a couple of neobadge random events.

I was extremely lucky with the birthday sidebar. My birthday was on July 6th and I played pyramids for about an hour and got an aisha trans, piece of a secret lab map, a skree, and a piece of a regular treasure map o.o. So yeah, I definitely think it ups your chance at getting random events.
