Just curious what people here think of them.
I know a lot of people on the boards seem to really dislike them.

As for me, well, some of them are pretty nice and actually sort of make you want to use them.
But they do seem to get boring faster.

And it's hard to find one that would actually suit your needs.

Hate is a strong word.

I don't like them. But I don't hate them. It's just kinda, "Eh. Whatever." I get more excited when I see a lookup that the owner actually put tons of effort into it, though.

For people like me that aren't good with HTML, it's a godsend. I would rather see someone found a nice looking one, than just leaving it white.

I don't think it really matters, whatever makes the user themselves happy. I know some people have their userlookups for other people but a lot just want something they themselves like looking at.

And having the default lookup is fine by me too. Some of the owner made lookups can be really pretty but I tend to look more at peoples pets anyway, hehe xD

Well I prefer them to the default ones. And the badly made ones with colours that clash. *shudder*

Mine's a nice premade. I know how to make my own, I'm just too gosh darn lazy.

It's nice for people who don't have the ability to make thir own (don't understand HTMl/CSS or no decent graphics program). I myself enjoy making my own pictures and coding the page, even when it refuses to co-operate. Making graphics and solving coding problems is fun.

Mine's premade, but I edited it to give it a more personal feel... premade's fine with me It's nice and tidy, unlike what my lookup will look like if I did it myself

I have no problem with premade lookups. A lot of them are really nice, although I prefer to make my own lookups.

Just...don't ask for them to be rated on the NeoBoards. x.x I hate that.

I don't mind them but I don't want to be seen with a premade. To me its almost like trying to impress people with art I didn't do. I just don't like it. Which is why I absolutely hate it when people ask others to rate their premade. Automatic zero and a telling-off. My look up looks sort of terrible right now, but hey, its my terrible But I understand being too lazy to make a proper lookup so I can't really begrudge people for that.
