Same here. The URL did not count for me, either. I send a bug report about it last time, but (not surprisingly) didn't get a response.

I guess it might be time to go back to taking a chance at the wording and being dissappointed when I don't word it right and don't get credit.

this is completely ridiculous, i'm sick of not getting it with the url anymore. if they aren't going to accept it then why dont' they tell us that? I'm sending in another bug report

I don't believe it's ridiculous. Half of the game is trying to phrase the answer correctly so you do win. The guidelines on the page state that it's the keywords they're looking for and not a URL. I think you may get lucky on a few when you type in the URL, but maybe they're cutting down on those responses.

I got lucky on all of them for the last 3 months with url's now all of a sudden they aren't taking them.

Like I stated before, if they aren't going to accept them, they should put that on the page.

Well, there is a big difference between "playbuttons/play162.gif" and "MAGAX: Destroyer play button". If the keywords were "MAGAX Destroyer", that URL obviously wouldn't cut it. You have to use common sense sometimes and take a bit of one and a bit of another. It never hurts to fill the answer box with as much as you can.

But they've never stated in the first place that they'd accept URLs, there is no need to add it since it's by those guidelines it's not accepted. You never know, they probably didn't notice people doing such entries until now (and have given those who did post a URL credit as a correct answer despite it.)

I've answered every MP for the last five months with the URL and have won every time (when I was correct) except the last two. Many have a URL that is very VERY different from thier phrasing. It is obvious to me that they changed thier practice of accepting the url.

So, the echelon who have before used the URL method; you have been notified.
