Has anyone else noticed a change in shop restocking times? I've noticed today in the shops that I usually go in that they are off from their usual second of the minute. I hope it's not a permanent thing. I like my regular times. lol

O_O... I dont know. But then again, I could never figure out my shop's restocking time to begin with. XD

I don't know, I didn't even try today (I'm just learning how to rs and am dismally bad at it) ... but I know the kads were completely messed up for awhile, and the kad feeding is tied into rs times.

I'll keep an eye on rs boards and see if there is anything happening.

It seemed to be off for a couple hours, but everything seems back on schedule now. Maybe it was just a short glitch.

I think they're back to being off.. I restock in two shops and the igloo and none of them are restocking when they should.. also, the items are coming in like, 3 items at a time, instead of all in one go. it's strange. hope it's not a permanent change.

Yeah, it's weird. They're restocking in order, but because people are following on, it's harder.

Yeah, they are really messed up. The way it is working is Food stocks normally at :00, then one by one items show up in food. When food has put out all of its items, Magic (Shop #2) starts putting out items 1 by 1, and they do this until all the hsops are done.

This usually happens because servers are under heavy load. It'll be totally normal later.

People were complaining that the times and the amount of items stocking was really "off" a couple of hours ago.

I have not seen this, but I did see a reference to something TNT allegedly posted saying there were going to be changes to RS and that it was in part to try (once again) to do something about ab'ers. I say allegedly because I haven't seen this page nor has anyone so far been able to provide me with a link to it.

If it's just a server hiccup or due to something being done/added to the site, then I guess things should get back to "normal" (whatever that is ). If this is a new attempt on TNT's part to try to foil/catch ab'ers, then it may be like this for awhile (I guess?).

If this is TNT's idea of a way to stop Abers, then they're idiots.

If they put up a rule that says "You can't buy things more than once every 5 seconds," and then change settings so that rather than all at once, items refresh every, oh, five seconds or so, then Johnny Cheater is going to have a HUGE advantage over normal, rule-abiding users, because he won't have to worry about that 5-second rule anymore.

A better way to set abers back a little bit would simply be to look at the average time between when R90+ items restock and when they're purchased, then to look for statistical outliers - users that are obviously wayyy ahead of the curve. See if they're ahead of the curve on other items they've bought, and if they are, suspend the accouts (rather than freezing, just in case it's a normal user). Or, better yet, shop-ban the users for, say, a week. Set the shop script up to post a message saying, "We think you might be using an autobuyer, so you're shop-banned for the next x days y hours and z minutes."

If they're legit, they'll play some games, stick around, maybe do some freebies, especially early in the shop banning.

If they aren't, they won't. Simple as that.

I don't know whats going on with snow food, Thats my usual shop and they haven't stocked anything since the day before yesterday. when I say anything I mean lollys and better items. frustrating, thats my livelyhood on neopets!

Snow food is stocking, it's just that it's happening about a minute and a half after the food shop, give or take 45 seconds.

ok i've figured it out, snow food stocks at wierd times, like sometimes at 15 seconds and sometimes at 25 seconds. wierd!

Shops are now restocking normally.

are you sure? they're definately not restocking normally for me..
