A new version of the Super Shop Wiz was introduced in Premium today. Seems there's a glitch or oversight letting everyone use it. Just wanted to give a heads up to not follow everyone on the neoboards, since you never know what exactly TNT will call 'abusing a glitch'.

You can load it and see what it looks like if you're not Premium. Who knows, maybe they're just giving everyone a sneak peak, but I doubt it.

Anyhow the programmer posted on charter that nobody would be iced for using it, so if anyone did you don't have to worry He seems much more likely to ice premiums that were complaining

I'd pay for it, I have a job! I think they should offer some sort of subscription, like on deviantart. If you dont wanna pay for it monthley, you can go by two weeks for X$, one month, 5 months, ext like that and pay like that. I'd do it then...

You can pay for a year of premium upfront, it works out a fair bit cheaper ^^ The only reason I don't is through fear that my account is wrongly frozen and I'm paying for something I can't use though :S

Yeah, thats true, too. Any change you'd know how much a year is? Maybe I'll pick one up when I re new my DA subb ^^

I also heard if your premium you get more leniency because your paying, but I dunno.

Argh... again, when updating the Portal, they removed Alpha Testers' access. I'm going to have to e-mail Kari and complain again, until she fixes it.

It's $69.95 annually which is a saving of *brain whirs* about $25 ^^

I don't think (though I don't know) you do get more leniency when premium, certainly premium people can and do get frozen too. I think you might get unfrozen quicker if it is a false freeze but I'm not sure It does seem like bug reports go through faster though when you are premium, which is kinda nice.

I use the Portal to keep track of all my Neopets stocks, since it's so much more organized than the Stock Portfolio page, and I want to check on them

The cheapest is yearly, works out to 19 cents a day (if you can save $1 every five days you can swing it, and cutting out two or three fast food sodas a month basically pays for it).

Premium accounts are subject to all the same rules and get frozen just as easily. However, since you have to use a credit card to sign up, you can very easily prove who you are and that you own the account, so it's much easier to get a stolen account back. But if you've been naughty, heh, forget it.

Actually it'd be kind of cool if they let everyone have premium features for a day, you really have no idea what it's like until you try it.

What's the alpha access you're talking about, Rune and Gir? I haven't noticed anything missing.

We both have a limited version of the portal that we can access because we partisipated in the beta testing of the portal before actual sign-ups for the premium service were available. We don't get most of the perks that come with premium such as access to the premium boards and access to the beta links to the yet to be released games and such (well at least I don't.)

Aha, ty for clearing that up I tried to get into the alpha testing way back when and they tried to help me, but it disagreed with my computer so I never got to do it. Good to hear they let all those testers keep their access

The new Sniperspace SSW is not any different than the SSW. It is just the SSW opened in a separate window so you don't have to wait for any portal elements to load. Oh and it gives less than half the results as well so you don't have to wait for a long list of shops to load, I think it just returns 10 or so.

Also I kinda like the update especially to the SSW the lil message on the bottom is funny
