Some of you might already have seen it on neopets. I know some will disagree with my methods, some will disagree with my message. I just think Neopets can be better than what it is right now but if everyone shuts up and accepts how things are then they will never change.
But anyway feel free to sign it, feel free not to sign it. Feel free to discuss it here, feel free not to discuss it here. Feel free to post it on other sites (like http://neofx.shadowswake.com/articles/01.php ) and tell people. Feel free to cuss at me. Feel free to worship the little tiny gnomes that live in our hats. Well you'll notice that the part about Adam is pure speculation of course. I would rather blame the suits that have taken over. It would be interesting though, to hear what Adam thinks about these things, about how the site is going. But I doubt he would/could speak too freely anyway.
I'm sure Adam is a top nice fella. As far as I understand it, it's not like he's the one in control so no beef with him.

Answer me this question, are you the cheater who's bumping other people off the high score list and disabling them to be able to get a trophy? It's just a game, Jeez. I don't see why people take it so seriously.

If you don't like the game so much, seriously, don't play. Trying to petition is childish and is not going to work. Call them greedy if you want, but they NEED money. In case you didn't know, we are not living in a world were everything is free. They need to pay for the servers, the artists, the programmers, the writers, the building space...

And you know what, if they want to make some profit, good for them. You'd honestly say you would cash in on something as big as Neopets? I don't ever recall people getting this p.o.ed at Disney when they had their deals with McDonalds. And they even made money WITHOUT merchandise and such. How "greedy" is that?

This bashing Neopets topics and petition topics need to stop. It's become impossible to avoid them when every second topic is about it.

The only thing I really want to see changed, is the freezing policy. Getting frozen based on how many people report you isn't fair. They're too trigger happy. If they don't have the time to legitimately freeze someone, they shouldn't do it.

Do you think they have time to check every single account that gets frozen? I don't think so.

While I agree with you on that one, I do think they need to work on their moderating skills. Right now there are so many things wrong with it. You can get frozen for anything because of report-happy users, or moderators who don't agree on rules, rules which are kinda unclear. It takes forever to get a good response when asking a support question, even longer to get your account back if wrongfully terminated... I do think that they need to just sit down and come up with something effective.

Right. You can get frozen for anything, as long as there's enough people to report you. If you have a better gallery than someone, and that someone has 15 friends that they get to all report you, you'll get frozen.

TNT spends more time evaluating frozen accounts that people want un-frozen, than they would if they just did it properly in the first place.

If it's just a game then why do you care? We can do with our time as we please and so can you.


That's a great question! Here's a hint: if you don't like these topics then don't click on them! I think my subject line was pretty informative. If there are too many negative topics about neopets then what do you think the reason is? People are unhappy. If there is smoke then there usually is a fire too.


Maybe they should find a way to only freeze the people who deserve it? Or at the very least, take the time to help out the people who get unfairly frozen.

err... isn't that what TNT wants to do in the first place?
