ever since the middle of may, i have only been going to my dailies(except omelette, jelly and healing springs) once a week, because i heard someone say once that doing so increases your chances of getting good stuff.

after a whole summer of experimenting, i have found this to be true. during the school year i could go up to a month without winning anything but the occasional booby prize from the tombola, fruit machine, shrine, and wheels.

but all summer, i've won something good from one to three of the dailies every week! especially needy of attention is the fruit machine--ignore it for a few days, and it will try desperately to win back your love. i got 10k and a battle muffin from it today.

anybody else ever try this? it may be a good experiment to test out.

that is interesting. I would like to try it out but I don't want to risk anything. Alothough I did notice that when I took a break from neopets and then came back, I felt pretty lucky and got pretty lucky.

Sorry, i don't think this is true. I took a looong break, almost 3 months and i went back to the fruit machine and played it and got nothing.

Though, Coltzan gave me something good

see, that's what i mean. i didn't get something good from every single daily every single week, but every week i got a good response from at least one (for me, it was usually the fruit machine). that doesn't happen every week when i play them daily.

of course, accounts under six months old should do dailies every day, since neopets is nicer to the newer accounts.

I have been doing dailies every day for the last 2+ years

The shrine recently gave me a ten dubloon coin (first time getting one). I have gotten plently of 2 dubloon coins from it. Mostly it's a blue hand or whatever.. meaning I get nada. Rarely do I get stat increases.

The Tombola has been nice recently too, I got several codestones and faeries from it after a long time of not getting anything. In fact, I almost gave up on Tombola because I wasn't getting even a booby prize in months.

The Fruit Machine however is a waste of time for me. I've never won a PB from it. I have gotten a few cheap petpets/np in the past. In the last couple of months I've gotten the food/50np wins a couple of times. But that's it.

I've been doing dailies every day for 4 years and nothing.

I can tell you this, what is happenening to you, is random! It's really not a trick. I tell you, I took a brezak from Neopets for a whole week! Ad when I came back three days ago, I only got a two dubloon coin from Coltsan, 5,000 NP from the Fruit Machine and 10,000 NP from WoE. Which PROOVES Your theory is right!

interesting theory, I think I'll try it out. I never have much luck with freebies so I probably won't be missing anything.

i havent went to tombola this month, and when i went there just now, i won! guess what i won? a strawberry and cheese milkshake... (and i meant won as in got a winning ticket). well its better than nothing. im quitting the freebies for the rest of the month (if not weeks)

It happens in buried treasure too but in a different way.

If I may ask a question....WHY?! I do my dailies every single day, it gives me something to look forward to. And better yet, they cost next to nothing.

Hm, I haven't done my dailies in an awfully long time. I just tried the Fruit Machine after almost a year...no luck.

I'll stick to the "certain times" theory.

Maybe we can do tests. Over almost 2 hours we can do the dailies again. If some people doing the dailies daily, and some other once or twice a week. Than we are going to compare that each week. Nice idea? I'll write down what I'll get from it in the next coming days.

Because if we compare it to one another we can see what's more worth it, playing everyday or a couple of times a week.

I will be doing it daily, I don't know if it's random, I can't remember if I got something nice after my holiday. I'm going on holiday for another 4 days at the end of this month, I'll remember this topic about this and will see if I'll get anything nice.
