I put my lesser healing scroll up for auction and after the time expired TNT neomailed me, after reading that no one bid on it I deleted the neomail and I checked my items and *todo* the scroll wasn't there :(

I used the bug reports but I don't think thats going to do much, what else should I do and what are the chances I will get my scroll back? It might not mean so much to most of you but I'm poor and I won that from the wheel so it means so much that I get it back :(

Try waiting for it, maybe it takes some time for it to appear in your inventory.

try collecting some proof that you had it as well, like a screenshot or something if you still can, if not, i don't really think there is much you can do, except wait, maybe its still stuck in the data base with some of the shops that have still not appeared?

If you see my sanity, get it to give me a call.

Well the only real evidence I had was the neomail they sent me about the unsuccessful auction but as I said I deleted it before I found out the scroll wasn't there (why did I ever trust TNTs words) :(

Well this answered my question:

"Hi there,

Thank you very much for bringing this bug to our attention. We will be
doing our best to fix this and the matter should be resolved shortly.
We cannot compensate for losses possibly incurred by this bug; but we do
appreciate you e-mailing us about this.

If you have any other questions, please do not forget to include the
entire text of this e-mail with your username clearly at the top. This
will help me better address your situation.

Bryan W.

Nothing new there. I could rant that they need more support, but I've run myself hoarse on it.. so, I'll just say it like this, At least you did get a personal response. Many of us don't.
I'm sorry that you didn't get the item back though! And no, I don't think any one gets their item back unless they are "famous" neopians or staff.

Amazing what one can come up with when one is given a cardboard box and a roll of duct-tape!

Actually, to get any sort of response is a miracle ;) But, yes, that looks like a bit of a personal response, as I've had one from him too. But I found out that for my first account, it was too late.
And ummm.. I know it looks formal.. like a robot response, but think of how many he's been writing. I know when I've been responding to too many emails, I wind up sounding rather flat.

Well thanks for all your help. I really should train myself to not get my hopes up with Neopets because I'll just end up falling harder on the ground... face first!

Lots of other people have lost their items and np from the auctions so its not safe to go there
