Is it just me that's noticed recently that the editorial form has replaced the feedback forms on the actual website???

the editorial has requests in it which would really suit the suggestions/ideas form, and it has complaints, which would really suit ideas/comments or bug reports...

TNT is also encouraging people to use it like that, espech by asking people to nessage the editorial about pet central rather than using the comments form.

Does no1 else think that this is stopping the interesting and usefull questions form getting through to the editorial? i used to really like reading it as i would find out new stuff from it, but it's now just 'can we have this?' 'ok' kinda thing...

Hmm, maybe they think it's easier just to have one centralized place to answer all questions.

I'd of thought they should've kept it seperate... or they should get someone who's sole job is to do alot of editorial quetsions (like... ALOT) and onyl have Adam/Donna do it on special occasions.

I think that it's fine the way it is. It's a nice way for people to get feedback on their feedback...

I mean, what kind of questions are you expecting?

I personally don't like seeing requests and comments/ideas in the editorial. There are forms for these things and I see that it's underused nowadays (sometimes I do like the random Neopets-related trivia that the editorial sometimes provides)

If I really wanted a responce, I'd rather get from a member of support (well something beyond their cut and paste messages) rather than seeing it publicly published like that .

I agree with that -- i'd rather have a significantly larger edtorial even if it it can't be from adam/donna every week. Or perhaps they could answer about 10 questions as they do now but have them answer better questions about the direction of the site and have some one else answer another 20 or 30 that are perhaps less vision oriented and more detail oriented or policy oriented questions.

runevalkyrie has pretty much summed it up, the editorial is a place for questions to be answered, not somewhere you want a list of 'can you do this please'

Yes, but what kind of questions...? I mean, the questions in there now have obvious answers that can be found in the Help section. To me, the suggestions are the best part as the give a hint of what will be added to the site.
