Is using my gallery account to use the shop wizard to price items on my main account shop since I'm wizard banned a freezable offense?

It seems illegal, but I've got a freind that's been shop wiz restocking on 3 or 4 accounts for the last 2 years, and he hasn't been frozen yet. I dunno though. I wouldn't do it personally.

I've done it before with no warnings, and since the second account doesn't exist for the sole purpose of making NP, that means it is TECHNICALLY ok, but we all know that whoever is responsible for freezing doesn't like to split hairs...

Well, I've never really been frozen myself, but plenty of my friends have been. I dunno. I mean, you don't want to anger the freezing guy :P

I guess that you should be alright, I mean if my freind can getting away with multi account shop wiz restocking (no where in the rules does it say that's illegal), then you'd probably be okay by searching to price items. Yeah, I don't see how this could be against the rules.

While I wouldn't see any harm in it, the general rule of thumb, for me at least, is that if I'm banned from doing something on one account, I don't do it on any, as it would likey be seen as subverting a ban. Even though it's just the shop wiz, I would not risk it. I mean, if you have to ask you probably shouldn't do it, especially if it's something temporary like this where you can just wait for the ban to end and then go about your business as usual.

I have to agree. I am a reseller and have a main and two secondary accounts--all of which I use to hunt on the shop wiz and then resell--and I hate it when I am shop wiz banned. But, I figure that if you aren't allowed to restock on another account after being restocked banned, the same type of reasoning would apply to the shop wiz. Once I have been shop wiz banned, I don't even think of checking out the shop wiz on my other accounts--not worth the risk in my opinion. And besides, the ban only lasts until the top of the hour--so you don't have to wait that long before being able to use it again. And, you can always use the time to check out your guild, get your freebies, play a game, eat a snack, etc.

Well, since you could also get a friend to do it for you on their account via messenger, it doesn't seem like something that would harm the economy. Just that ACCOUNT is banned, not you pricing things.

So, what about using the Shop Wiz on your second account to find an item for a Faerie Quest on your main account?

Has anyone ever been frozen for doing that? I've often wondered if it would be a freezable offence... in the presumably unlikely event that Neo caught you doing it.

I would think that is illegal, since TNT meant faerie quests to be harder to complete.

I haven't done that for about a year, since I just use the thread in Neo Help now.

I do the same as Alex, just ask for quest help on the Neoboard or on my Guild message board. I usually get a lookup within a few minutes. :)

Looking to buy Snowbunny Stamp and Sticky Snowflake Stamp. If you're selling, please PM me!

Sierra Raven, Alex, and Qanda are right. My advice: if you think it is "illegal," then it probably is. And, most likely, not worth the risk.
