Have you ever got a reply from staff that made you go "Huh?" ?

I just got a mass reply to everything I have submitted (bug, ideas, and comments) for the past month. Not all staff is like this, thank goodness. Most staff answers each submission, not lump them all together.

It made it rather difficult to follow what she was saying since I had no idea where some of her reply was coming from.
Especially the reminder that sending in several emails for one inquiry is considered spam and a freezable offense.
o_O uhhh not nice being threatened because someone is a dingbat.

Each time I contact staff I keep items clearly seperated so not to cause confusion. I may send something in once a month, but not every day or even every week.

The following is the Lumped Letter broken down.

I asked if random events were working properly because MANY players have the exact same complaint.
I was told random events were random.

well duh!

I sent in a bug report the day the war started about opponents not gaining hit points when you win.
She told me opponents gain hit points for their side if you lost the battle.

Not exactly what I asked or clearly explained in the bug report, but ok...

I sent in an idea that perhaps TNT ought to consider scheduled stocking times in shops like we used to have since the random restock really doesn't thwart the cheaters and only shop bans those who are honestly trying to play the game. (this is an old request hundreds have sent in)
She told it is an offense if you refresh the shop.

uhh....... huh?

I sent in a comment that the current payout cuts were making some of the games not worth loading and sponsor games really ought to pay out more. (one round of Harry Potter did pay out close to 500 and it was cut) It being a sponsor then people ought to be drawn to it and decent pay out would certainly help.
I was told "We have started to cut the payout of some certain games as those who are new have not been given a fair chance at winning points. Some of the more tenured players have been playiing the same games and winning an outrageous amount of points every time, we are just trying to create a more new user friendly website."

So cutting pay out after a game has been released for months really helps a new comer win points?
HOW!?
It is rather impossible for any player, "tenured" or new, to win "outrageous" amounts of NP since there is a cap of 1k per play.

And I had asked if they could verify if the coins released on Nov 4th were actually released. I am impatiently waiting for them to complete my collection.
I was told ,"We cannot give out fuzzles, however the chances of getting one will be greatly increased on their day."

 Yes.... I can see where I asked for any item. How silly of me not to know there is a special day for a toy?

I am so utterly confused it is ridiculous.

I am sincerely sorry if I confused anyone in this jumble and for ranting, but I really don't know who else to discuss this with.
If I did on Neopets I would no doubt be frozen *lol*
I know they must deal with an immense amount of mail but this is absurdly unprofessional even for their normal standards!

Has anyone else every gotten wild, unhelpful, confusing, etc.... responses?
Tell me I am not alone *headache*

I think the person in question needs disiplinary action...

I'd sack her :D

I've never got one that mad. I'd love to know who it was from but I don't want you posting it on here though. So it's ok. I'll just see if I get any. Since I do mail them now and then with ideas, bugs, comments and what not.

I even commented today on how great the advent animation was :P

Not really, no.

At the same time, since she didn't bother to address each submission indivually it is hard to tell what she is talking about in some of the letter. *lol*

I've never gotten everything lumped together like this before.
I've been on Neopets for over 4 yrs.

Bug reports we really don't expect replies from. I haven't gotten a reply from any bug report in well over a year now.
Ideas, support, and comments I have gotten replies.
Ideas and comments I mainly get the copy/paste replies they give everyone.

I think I resent being borderline threatened and treated as if I was asking for an item more than being confused
:)

Edited bit:
lol April 1st :D

I'll give 2 leads, female and name starts with an "M".

Haha.. sorry, but that's funny.

I feel bad for that woman. She must have made some sort of mistake.

Offense to refresh at shops? Pulls out old Terms and Conditions... Nope not here! And clicking on the shop keepers image refreshes each page. Why would they do that if it was a freezable offense o_O Looks like the questions person should get the ax :D

Sorry, but that's really funny.

However, this is the kind of lack of customer service that is now we're coming to expect. That leads to lack in the general site, making the site less... good. :P

See the cycle?

Those who...Um...I don't know. Now... I've got nothing else to say.

*Gets out a one size fits all white jacket for the Staff person*

So it is an offense to refresh the shop huh? Than why did TNT make to where if you click the image of the shopkeeper the shop is refreshed? hmmm?

Her exact words were "When you refresh shops, yes, it is an offense."

I know for a fact, without a doubt, that I did NOT ask her if refreshing shops was against the rules.

I strongly believe that Adam ought to force staff not only to read the rules but to learn a little about the site they are working for.

Ya know what, forget it.
I want her job.
I can sit on my butt, not read what the report is about, and give better moronic answers.

I'll tell players Sloth came in and zapped this or that.
A large Lenny molted on it.
Someone put a rotten omelette in the cd rom and we can't access that right now.

I mean honestly, if you are not going to help me and just waste my time then at least entertain me some!

Quite frankly, I think that all of the good staff has been moved over to the premium service *rolls eyes*

If I was Doug, I'll eat her. She is the WORST staff member I've seen at answering questions ever!

Staff that have responded to me have said things like "Hi, I read your idea, and we may just have it planned for the next couple of weeks! Thank you!"

:roflol: Sorry, but it's just TOO funny!!!

That's the worst neopets staff response I've ever seen. (Well, besides warnings....if you know what I mean.)

I can't believe she? actually "warned" you that you were spamming! That is just insane!

Having worked in customer service in various jobs over the years, I can tell you something like that would never have flown anyplace I worked. I'd be packing up my desk.

This just proves once again that support staff is not being trained properly and not being informed on what is and isn't ok.

Where's Adam when we need him? This person needs a reality check, not a paycheck!

that is ridiculous....to a comical level. this woman should have disciplanary action filed against her if she continously answers inquiries so ineffectively

"i'm filling empty spaces
where you left your mark
take two steps back from all of this
remember what you started with
it was nothing at all..."
