Hairspray Movie

Is anyone else as excited for the new Hairspray movie as I am?

It's got so many awesome people in that I such as AMANDA BYNES (omg, I am so in love with her!), Queen Latifah, Zac Efron, ALISON JANNEY, etc.

Not to mention I love Hairspray and it's music in general. From all the previews and from listening to the album, I have a really optimistic hope for it! I usually hate movies based on musicals, but I'm hoping this'll change my mind.

I believe I am going on opening day this Friday (and for free- yay for friends working at movie theaters!).

Tell me I'm not the only one.

It looks AMAZING, i love how much the daughters resemble their mothers, brittany snow to michele pffeifer, john travolta to nikki blonsky.

OMG GUYS.

GO SEE IT.

IT WAS AMAAAZZING, AMAAAZZING, AMMAZZING.

They totally hit the nail head. The music was perfect, I can't think of a single bad performance from any of the actors, the lines were amazing.

So good. They have restored my faith in the movie musical.

Also, I want to marry Amanda Bynes RIGHT NOW. Allison Janney was super great too for the short time she was on.

Oh, and I was really expecting to not like John Travolta, but he was actually awesome in that role.

One of my new favorite movies.

You know what, I really enjoyed it. I haven't seen the original stage presentation, but I thought the movie did a great job. The songs, performances and dances were all fantastic, and the lines in between don't sound awkward at all like some musical to movies do.

They filmed it here, in Toronto
John Trovolta dancing in a highly uncomfortable costume, would have been a sight to see.

I saw it and really liked it! The girl who played Tracey was great.

I just saw it tonight. It was wicked! I saw the show on Broadway about three years ago. I just absolutely adore the music. I thought Michelle Pfeiffer was GREAT!

I didn't think I'd like the movie that much, but I really loved it! The acting was great, the songs were catchy, and I liked the overall story.
