The plant poison on a person each night, if that person is not targetted, they die. If they are, everyone that targeted them dies. Or something like that. They can also plant it on themselves I believe. You'll have to ask TDG, Qanda, and some of the others on that.

If the poisoner works like the original poisoner then it works as follows.

Situation 1

Each night the poisoner [Player Q] may plant poison on somebody [Player X]
If anybody [Players A, B and C] targets the plantee [Player X] then they die.
Players A, B and C die.

Situation 2

Each night the poisoner [Player Q] may plant poison on somebody [Player X]
If nobody targets the plantee [Player X] then the plantee [Player X] dies
Player X dies

Situation 3

The poisoner [Player Q] may choose to plant poison on themselves [Player Q]
If anybody [Players A, B, C] targets the poisoner [Player Q] then they die
Players A, B and C die

Situation 4

The poisoner [Player Q] may choose to plant poison on themselves [Player Q]
If nobody targets the poisoner [Player Q] then the poisoner is unable to poison anybody for the next two cycles
Nobody dies.

The poisoner usually makes it to the final three and has a very high shield. Simpy put, you have three options. Run, Hide, or die...

Only one poisoner. They usually have a cap on how many they can kill too (Knowing Scott, 5 )

Urthdigger probably died protecting somebody who was poisoned. Judging by the fact that most people target people from the same place (IE : PPTers tend to protect PPTers, IDBers tend to protect IDBers) I'd say both the poisoner and the poisonee were PPTers more than anything else. Though, that could be entirely wrong, its just something MCs observe sometimes...

Okay lets say LAQ is the poisoner, she could plant the poison on herself today. I'm assuming the last person who votes for her will die, but i'm not sure how this role works with executions and such.

Anyhow, I agree with Kugetsu that it is improbably coincidental that LAQ had a posting requirement which had to do with "toxic". I think this has a higher chance of a baddie posting requirement.
