For what it is worth, it you edit (your own) last post in a thread, I have a mod that updates the post date to current and marks it as new If memory serves, it was a request from Siniri a long while back.

Yep, I always view PPT through active threads, and your post shows up there after editing it, with the time of the most recent edit.

For some reason if a post is edited, at least for me, it does show as new within the forum it's in (Neopets Chat/Neopian Plot Council/etc), but doesn't show it as a new post within each forum from the main Board Index page....which is how I usually go look for new posts. I remembered that in the past, I've copied out the post I wanted to edit along with the time it was originally posted, then deleted it, created a new post, copied the previous last post data in, and added stuff to the end. I'm trying to remember to do that again instead of double posting to make sure the post shows "new" on the board index.

I like the active topics page because it shows only what people have posted to recently, whether or not I've participated in the thread. I sometimes have to change it to past week for the obelisk (or past month for the freebies page, unless someone beats me to it, as happened today), but other than that, I find it the easiest way to quickly see everything you guys have posted.

For what its worth, my bookmark for PPT Forums is the Active Topics page. I do need to occasionally look at the main page in case there are new posts that need approved. (As an anti-spam measure, any new member must have their first 10 posts personally approved by yours truly).

I need to remember to go to the "main" (index) page now and again to see if there are new member posts that need to be approved. One of my anti-spam measures is to personally approve the first 10(?) posts of a new member. Since 99% of the new member posts are spam, checking for them frequently has not been a priority.
