I did, but since I don't care much about avatars, and especially not a common one like that, I don't count it as a prize. :P

And for those who did not manage to load the flash animation, that is an unfortunate side effect of using Firefox/adblock. Open the page with IE. ;)

It didn't load for me either. As this is my first advent calendar, I wanted to see it. I thought it might be because I have ads blocked on Firefox...but it had the tab there so I could block it if I wanted. So I really don't know. Anyone have any ideas?

Oh, and I also got an avatar and 300nps. :)

It loaded for me.....

Anyways...the animation was this :


You see an ixi scratching a scratchcard. He scratches 2 spots and gets 2 snowballs! Then while he scratches the final spot....a huge avalanche of snow falls on him. :P

I have been using Firefox for months and yes, it has problems with flash on Neopets. I believe it has been mentioned a few times. Just switch to IE when viewing flash-related pages. :)

I saw that one. Wasn't there supposed to be one on the page where you collected your prize? That's the one I couldn't see.

I couldn't see that one either, it was taking forever to load. I just gave up now, 'cause I have to go to bed.
(the one on the prize page that is)

Yeah, I saw the snowball one.

which was one the page you collect the prize. I right clicked on it and it said movie not loaded, and the image server says it doesn't exist.

Firefox isn't the cause -- I use it and saw the animation just fine.


Apparently, they weren't quite ready at midnight Neo time. Those of us who hit it in the first couple (few? several?) minutes got the av & the 300 NP; others, who came later, also got the Snowball Bean Bag.

Oh well, my wife & daughter each got the full array, and since it's not a consumable, I'll be able to pick mine up once the price drops.
