"Everyone, it's time for the Veto Ceremony, please go to the living room," instructed Regan as she led the way into the living room, filled with two couches facing one another, a long wooden table placed in the center and one love seat facing the front of the room.
The Houseguest's took their places on the couches, while the nominee's took their places on the love seat.
"Welcome to the veto meeting everyone. I'll skip the preamble today because I'd like to listen to both of the nominees as to why the veto should be used on them, to help me with my decision," Regan continued, "Lee, you can start,"
Lee stood up and said, "Thousands of years ago, the first man discovered how to make fire. He was probably burned at the stake he had taught his brothers to light. He was considered an evildoer who had dealt with a demon mankind dreaded. But thereafter men had fire to keep them warm, to cook their food, to light their caves. He had left them a gift they had not conceived and he had lifted darkness off the earth," he paused to clear his throat and than continued, "Centuries later, the first man invented the wheel. He was probably torn on the rack he had taught his brothers to build. He was considered a transgressor who ventured into forbidden territory. But thereafter, men could travel past any horizon. The Houseguest's were left slightly confused; Lee noticed their expressions and pressed forward, "But now we stand as combatants, man against man, brother against brother. I plea for your veto, as my cat is cuter then all of yours," he said with a humorous tone, "Big Brother may be always watching, but there is no reason for me to be sent to Room 101 yet!"
"Thank you," said Regan, "John, it's your turn,"
John stood up and made his plea, "Please please please use the POV vote on me. I have made so many friends amongst you guys and I wouldn't like my BB experience to end. Also, I haven't had a penalty point yet and Lee has so I guess that means I'm active!" John glanced quickly at Lee, "Sorry Lee! But If you choose me, you won't regret it plus I'll be really happy!" he explained.
"Thank you," said Regan, she glanced down for a minute while she thought about her decision. Regan glanced up and said, "While you both have brought forth interesting reasons, I will not be using the veto today," Regan explained, "Good luck to the both of you, John and Lee! This meeting is now adjourned,"
The Houseguest's stood up and began to hug one another. Who will be evicted from the Big Brother house, Lee or John? And who will be the new HOH? Find out on Thursday!
