Yeah, for now I think that's all we have to do. I lost track of time and wasn't following the Mole... I thought it was going to start later! Had to take my baby to the doctor during the first challenge, can I still play?

Oh, yeah, you can still play. I think a sick baby is a little more important than a challenge, don't you? I had to excuse someone else because they were in the path of Hurricane Charlie, so obviously those things are more than legitimate reasons to not attend. And yes, Ammer, this is all you have to do for now. There won't be anything else until Thursday at 6PM EST (3PM NST).

I can't begin to say how thrilled I am, there are only two people who have not joined the Yahoo group, and one of them is the person who was in the path of Hurricane Charlie, so I essentially have all my players now. I'm looking forward to the next challenge, since we should have 10-13 people this time around.

Yeah, she's fine. She had an ear infection, so she's cranky, but other than that, she's okay.

I'm glad to hear that it wasn't TOO serious.

And T.M., I'm still waiting on some people, I'm giving everyone a total of two days to send in the quizzes, (yesterday and today) so the first person executed will be posted either late tonight or early tomorrow. Just to be clear, though, I will not be telling people how many they got right. The only thing you will know is if you're staying or not.

Nope, cap, I probably didn't fully explain that portion of the game, but I will right now.

Every three days (as you know) there is a quiz, followed by an execution. No matter what, the game continues until there are three people left. Those three people will have to take a final quiz with 20 questions about the Mole. The person who gets the most right is the winner, and takes away the whole group pot. The person who gets the most wrong is the Mole's final victim. And, obviously, the third person is the Mole, to be revealed after the game is over. This is Mole tradition (if you've ever seen the game) to play until there are only three people left. That's the most fair way, since there's no way you guys could make close to the full 400k if I ended the contest the first time someone correctly guessed who the Mole is.

The opening paragraph is a somewhat paraphrased and revised version of the opening speech used in the Mole series, so I don't want anyone to be confused about when the game ends. But the odds of someone getting all 10 questions right are slim to none, especially as the game progresses.

No problem, cap, I needed to explain that eventually anyway.

And it's HIGHLY unlikely we'll be going backward by age. I think his name does stand for The Man Who Always Changes His Name, from the days when PPT let members change their name at will.
