Eep, I was just able to get online and see the aftermath of all of this. Definitely a strange night, although we did get a cult member. Truth be told, I didn't think there was a cult for some reason, so it's good we got a member but bad that there is a cult.

I'm not sure at the moment who I'm suspicious of. There's not much evidence to go on at all, so I think I'll wait.

Since the Cult uses knives, and there were no knife deaths...

Maybe we should target the inactive ones? o_O

Please please please, nobody spolier Lord of the Flies to me  I have to read it for my english class, and if I already know the end I'll never get around to finishing it...

On a happier note, yay, I knew Kugetsu was up to no good! (as always :P)
Do you think there is a chance that the cult is already defeated? Since there's so many teams if would make sense if they had very few members, and maybe we got lucky and Kugetsu didn't have time to convert/kill anybody.

I still wonder where the pile of soot came from o_O

But then Scott would tell us the Cult is defeated.

Nope.

Unlike past games, I will not be the one declaring the victory of a group.
When you feel that your team has won, ONE person must declare victory in the following way:

I, (your SN), declare that the (your team) has emerged victorious

etc., etc.

This also means that I will not announce when a team has been defeated!

Anyway, good/bad night. I'm glad a cult member is gone/we know there is a cult, but we also lost two powerful innocent roles.

Oh, and when I hear Mafia, I always think of the Sopranos... o_O

I think that there are at least 2 more cult members out there as they always run around in peaches and pairs.

But 4 teams... Maybe the cult only had one member and was supposed to grow as the game went on?

Usually the cult starts out with one, the leader, who gets a couple of conversions on the first day (WereWiki is your friend). I may be wrong, I don't think I've been in a game with a cult before, though I may be wrong about that too.

Losing a protector (poor Icey) and our vigilante - not good, but depending on the way the role is set up, maybe we have another? I hope so, a protector and vigilante dead on the first day is not good.

As for voting inactives as the cult, I don't think there are any inactives - everyone voted.

About the many baddie teams I think there are three possibilities.
1 - There are a lot of OMT's
2 - The baddie teams are small
3 - Scott is messing with us

These are just my opinions, I could be wrong.[/url]

Dyl in the latest NCW game, there were two cult members and a "Double Agent" who was actually an innocent but appeared as a bad guy.

I didn't play that game, I was just going by the WereWiki and what I thought was normal for the role.

In most of the games that I've played with the cult in them, most of the time we didn't even know they were there until they either killed or someone was killed... that was because their conversions, unlike that of other teams, were not told of.

Hopefully it's not the same case here. =/

Yup wasn't accusing you of not knowing - just informing you ;)

I think Kugetsu is more likely to be the OMT here - 2 teams and 2 OMTs would seem about right for a game of this size (I'm gussing there is wolves, mafia, and probably an evil-wizard type role, from the soot or whatever).

Eh. I'm going into town, and I'm not sure whether I'll be back in time to vote or not (Dad likes to take us to random places :P) so I'll cast my vote now. Unfortunately, there's nothing to go on (that I see), so...

Vote: No execution

If I do get back before execution, and you guys have someone... quite likely I'll change my vote. ^-^;
