That was what I was wondering. It is sensless to put in the news section of the site that you can get rid of the banner ads by signing up only to barr potential customers from doing so. Especially as at this time of year when people might buy it as a Christmas present for a family member. What ever is going on they are cutting their own throats in a business sense. The banner ads slow the site down and cause graphics on older machines to crash. So go buy the portal acess only .... it makes no commercial sense what so ever.

I signed up about half an hour ago (it's now 12:56am Central US time), and it worked fine for me as well. I've never had the beta glitch page though.
