Whats the big deal with the garlic stuff anyway? how come it just inflated overnight?

The avatar was released, and some avatar collectors too greedy to wait another day to get it were paying a lot for garlic bread because it wouldn't let you buy things from shops.

Because of the rarity of the bread (35) and the fact that it's not the only item you can use for the avatar, it will go down significantly.

ok I wont buy it then I was thinking I might but then I thought that much for bread? i hope they dont retire it

Wow, I bought one garlic bread halves for the avatar last night for 500 NP. I never thought it would go up that much. Now I'm kicking myself for not buying a bunch!

I don't think people who are capitalizing on it are necessarily greedy, though -- if I had a bunch of bread, you can bet I'd be getting 20K for it if I could. It's just good business sense. It'll drop back down soon, so anyone who doesn't have the avatar yet should just wait. That bread is very common.

I just realized you can get the avatar by feeding a garlic shield to a grarrl or skeith.

They're only 10k, so now it's all of a sudden a much cheaper avatar.

I think we all had FAIR warning in PPT's unreleased section about garlic day. Stocked up long before news was released.

I feel sorry for those who bought for over 10k and then do not sell thiers before the price deflates again.

I didn't get in on this one. I restocked on for 300 np and got the avatar, sat in the shop, didn't see them again and just shruged it off. My hayday will come someday. :)
