Another tip is that on the day of the exam don't practice a piece too many times cause when you actually do the real thing you might slip up and that is never good. Deep breathes can work wonders as well, take on between every piece you play. Since there is no time limit as too how long you can be in the room.

Ohhh, another thing... tape the songs, either you playing them or a tape with them already on it, and play it while you sleep... it helps!

Well... according to an Archie comic, anyway.

Well, I've got one more day (tomorrow afternoon, right after school, is when my exam is). I've got the memorisation parts down, but I've just remembered that I usually get tense when playing in a different environment (ie. different piano, different room, fully opened piano as opposed to how I keep mine half open when playing...). Strange, but quite a factor.

I've also got to deal with the technical stuff- scales, thirds, sixths, formulas, four-notes, dominant 7ths, and diminished 7ths I can do adequately, but triad- and dominant/diminished-arpeggios I'm atrocious at. I have trouble with even C Major Dominant cause the positioning's so awkward. Oh well, can't do much about that.

Thanks for all the other tips, everyone. :D

Whew, it's all over. I did get nervous- a lot, but focussing and relaxing really helped. I was a bit tense in my first song (worth 15 marks of 100), and ended up completely blanking out after a nice run. Thus, I had to start the second movement over again, in which I...umm...really really screwed up. But otherwise, it was fine. :)

Thanks, you guys.
